Tirumala, 17 Jan. 22: The unique annual festival, Pranaya Kalahotsavam will be observed in Tirumala on January 18.
The processional deities of Sri Malayappa Swamy on one palanquin and His consorts on different palanquins will reach opposite Swamy Pushkarini.
The Jeeyangars recite Nammalwar Pasurams written in "Nindastuti" mode on the occasion.
Later the religious staff divides into two groups with one supporting Sri Malayappa and another taking the side of Goddesses.
The love enacted in this unique festival makes everyone in splits as the Goddesses throws floral balls on Sri Malayappa. With the Swamy varu asking both the Goddesses for apology, the interesting fest concludes on a happy note and the deities enter inside temple again.
