Purandara Dasa Aradhana Mahotsavams from 31st Jan to Feb 2nd

The annual Aradhana Mahotsavams of Karnataka Sangeeta Pitamaha Sri Purandhara Dasa will be observed by the Dasa Sahitya Project of TTD from January 31 to February 2 in Tirupati and at TIrumala.

 

On January 31, there will be Haridasa Ranjani programme at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati between 6pm and 8pm where Dasa Bhajans followed by religious discourses will be performed.

 

Similarly there will be special programmes at Asthana Mandapam in Tirumala on January 31 which includes Dhyanam, Nagara Sankeertanam, Samuhika Bhajana, discourses by various pontiffs.

 

On the second day on February 1, after garlanding the statue of Sri Purandhara Dasa at Alipiri, Purandhara Dasa Brunda Ganam will be observed at 6pm in Vaibhavotsava Mandapam in the divine presence of Sri Malayappa Swamy, Sridevi and Bhudevi. Usually this fete takes place in Narayanagiri Gardens. But due to Covid restrictions this year, the venue has been changed.

 

On the last day on February 2, there will be conclusion programmes at Asthana Mandapam in Tirumala. Dasa Sahitya Project Special Officer Sri PR Anandatheerthacharyulu is supervising the arrangements.
