National Science Day Celebrations

 Ch. Malla Reddy Garu, Honourable Minister of Labour and Employment, Government of Telangana and Smt. A. Vani Prasad, IAS., Principal Secretary to Govt., Government of Telangana & Director General EPTRI, have been invited as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively in the National Science Day Celebrations-SRISHTI 2022 on 28th February, jointly organized by EPTRI ENVIS HuB & RP and CMRIT.

Speaking on this occasion the Honourable Minister has motivated the students by emphasizing on the application of new innovative technologies and their significance in day to day life. The Minister said that the state Government has been encouraging the start-ups in the field of science and technology he also stated that advanced technology had been used in Kaleshwaram lift irrigation Project by Telangana State Government.  He told that the secret of success is to keep upgrade every moment.

Smt. A. Vani Prasad, IAS, Director General, EPTRI has delivered a talk on sustainable approaches in Science and Technology in near future, she emphasized on elements of an effective science and technology strategies for better future through sustainable development process. She also mentioned to students that EPTRI is conducting several certificate courses under Green Skill Development programme in various fields which will help the youth in getting employment.  She spoke on the literacy rate and percentage of women in the field of science and technology. 

The Director General told the students that EPTRI is conducting several Green Skill Development Programmes in various sectors such as Water Budgeting, Green GPD, Solar, Water Treatment Systems, Ecology and Biodiversity to use the opportunity.

Many students from different colleges and schools across Telangana have participated in the celebrations and exhibited their project expos. Prizes and certificates were distributed by Smt A. Vani Prasad, IAS, Principal Secretary to Govt., Govt. of Telangana and Director General, EPTRI to the winners & participants.
