Sivaratri Sangeeta Mahotsavams in Mahati


The Mahati Auditorium is sprucing up to provide a devotional cultural feast to the art lovers of Tirupati.

 

On the auspicious occasion of the Maha Sivaratri festival on March 1, TTD is organising a three-day musical fiesta which commences on February 28 and concludes on March 2 at Mahati Auditorium under the aegis of Sri Venkateswara College of Music and Dance.

 

Every day there will be devotional music and dance treat to the denizens from Morning 9 am to 10pm.

 

The faculty and students of TTD Music and Dance College will present the Sankeertans, instrumental and dance programmes.

 

About 48 programmes will be performed on these three days which includes 18 Nadaswaram and Dolu, 8 vocal and 8 instrumental programmes. Apart from this 60 dance artistes consisting of both present and old students will perform four classical dances which includes one Kuchipudi and three Bharatanatyam.

 

There will be 'Panchakshari Nava Vaidya Sammelanam', a special program on the day of Siva Ratri which is going to be a special attraction of the three day event.

 

The Principal of the College, Sri Tirupati M Sudhakar is supervising the arrangements of this mega three day devotional programme.
