Malayappa Rides Float with Consorts

On the fourth day of the Srivari annual float festival (Teppotsavam) Sri Malayappa along with consorts Sridevi and Sri Bhudevi rode the richly decorated float on Wednesday evening.

 

Earlier the Utsava idols of Swami and Ammavaru were paraded on the four Mada streets before reaching the Pushkarini.

 

Sri Malayappa and his consorts took five rounds in the flower, electrical decorated glimmering float amidst Mangala vadyam, Veda parayanams by Veda pundits and sankeetans by the Annamacharya project artists.

 

Tirumala pontiff Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyarswamy, Addl EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, SE-2 Sri Jagdishwar Reddy, DyEO of Srivari temple Sri Ramesh Babu, Peishkar Sri Srihari, VGO Sri Bali Reddy and others were present.
