SVIMS and TATA Cancer Hospital to Become Regional Cancer Centers - TTD Eo

TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy said on Sunday that AP Government has decided to elevate the SVIMS hospital and Tata cancer hospital at Tirupati into regional cancer Centers.

 

Speaking after his visit to the Oncology wing of SVIMS and Tata cancer hospital under construction on Sunday, he said eminent cancer specialist and Advisor to AP Government Dr Nori Dattatreyudu had visited both hospitals and made valuable suggestions to State officials to make them regional cancer centres.

 

He said while the Tata cancer hospital is likely to be inaugurated by May 1st week, TTD is expeditiously organising recruitment of medical staff and equipment for the Oncology department at SVIMS.

 

TTD JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, SVIMS Director Dr Vengamma, Estate Officer Sri Mallikarjun, Tata Cancer Hospital In-Charge Dr BR Ramanan, Dr Nageswar Reddy, TTD Chief Engineer Sri Nageswar Rao were present.
