On the second day of ongoing religious activities at Sri Venkateswara temple in Bhubaneswar, a series of agamic rituals took place on Sunday.
During the day Kankana Dharana, Nava Kalasa Snapanam, Panchagavya Adhivasam were performed. As part of it, the idol of Sri Venkateswara Swamy was rendered holy bath with the aromatic ingredients from nine vessels.
Later in the evening, Kalasa Sthapana, Agni Pratistha, Ukta Homam will be observed by the archakas under the supervision of Agama Advisor Dr Vedantam Vishnu Bhattacharyulu.
Deputy EO Sri Gunabhushan Reddy, All Projects Program Officer Sri Vijayasaradhi, AEO Sri Naik, Superintendent Sri Mallikarjuna and others were present.
DONATION
Sri Majeti Munaiah, former General Manager, Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation, Bhubaneswar along with his spouse Smt Venkata Padma has donated a 54-Salagrama Haram to the deity on the auspicious occasion.
