Malayappa Blesses Devotees in Mutyala Kavacham

On the second day of the ongoing annual Jyestabhishekam in Tirumala temple, Sri Malayappa Swamy adorned in Pearl Armour blessed His devotees on Monday evening.

 

Earlier during the day, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the processional deities of Sri Malayappa, Sridevi and Bhudevi amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras between 9am and 11am. 

 

Later in the evening, Mutyapu Kavacham was adorned to Sri Malyaappa Swamy. The devotees had an opportunity to witness the deity in Pearl Armour which happens only once in a year.

 

Both the senior and junior pontiffs of Tirumala, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, temple DyEO Sri Ramesh Babu and others were present.

 

GARUDA SEVA CANCELLED

 

In view of the annual Jyestabhishekam, the monthly Pournami Garuda Seva was cancelled by TTD on June 14.
