Infosys Cofounder Lauds Hrudalaya

 Infosys cofounder and former TTD board member, Smt Sudha Narayana Murthy lauded the services and environment at the Sri Padmavati Hrudayalaya as superior than the corporate hospitals in the country.

 

During her visit to the hospital on Tuesday morning, she went around the ICU, General wards, Operation Theatres and also interacted with parents and children who had come from Bangladesh and West Bengal.

 

Smt Narayana Murthy lauded the free services and quality medical procedures performed at the Children's hospital and appreciated the doctors and para-medical staff for their selfless and committed services.

 

Speaking on the occasion, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said over 500 heart procedures have been performed within 6 months span since the inception of the hospital wherein even a few days (six days) old infants were also successfully treated.

 

He said the SPH was fully geared to undertake heart transplant operations costing 20-25 lakhs and TTD was making efforts to procure the sophisticated equipments needed.

 

JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, Hospital Director Dr Srinath Reddy, RMO Dr Bharat participated in the program.

Speaking to a Bangladeshi patient from Dhaka, Mohammed Abul Kasan Smt Narayana Murthy said that it was the greatness of India that with the benign blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy free medical services are provided to anyone on humanitarian grounds irrespective of their caste, creed and religion.

 

Kasan’s five-year-old daughter Shaheeba, with a hole in the heart has been admitted for the operation and he complimented the hospital and TTD both for their hospitality, services and other facilities.

 

He said after sending Child's medical records on email, Dr Srinath Reddy had asked them to come on July 24 and operation was performed on July 29 without a single paisa expenditure. He also complimented the doctors and para-medical staff for their dedication in extending the quality services.
