Grand Shobha Yatra by Dasa Sahitya Project

As part of the three-day long Tri-monthly Metlotsavam fete TTDs Dasa Sahitya Project on Tuesday organised a grand Shobha yatra of bhajan mandals in pilgrim city.

Earlier in the morning at the Third Choultry behind the railway station, the Bhajan mandals conducted  Suprabatam, Dhyana and bhajans followed by sankeetans and later dharmic discourse.

Shobha yatra began after special pujas performed by DyEO of Sri Govindarajaswami temple Smt. Shanti and Special Officer of DSP Sri Ananda Thirthacharyulu.

More than 3500 bhajan Mandal members from AP, Telangana and Karnataka participated in the Shobha yatra.

On December 1, Metlapuja will be performed at Alipiri Padala Mandapam in which several prominent leaders will participate and take footpath to Tirumala with Sankeertans and Bhajans throughout the route.
