Akka Devatala Pooja Held

The Akka Devatala Puja on the first ghat road(Down Ghat) was held with religious fervour in Tirumala on Friday

TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy took part in this folK Goddesses Puja.  They were Seven Sisters who are believed to guard the pilgrims and employees who ply on ghat roads without any untoward incidents during their Ghat journey.

Every year, the Transport wing of TTD performs Akka Devatala Puja and later the pedestrian devotees are distributed Prasadams.

Transport GM Sri Sesha Reddy, DIs Sri Janakirami Reddy, Sri Mohan and others were also present.
