Cancer Hospital to Come up Soon - TTD Eo

 After recalling the great sacrifices made by the freedom fighters on the occasion of the 74th Republic Day, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said TTD is committed to carry out more and more pilgrim initiatives with great enthusiasm in future also.


The R-Day celebrations were observed with a great patriotic fervour in TTD Administrative Building Parade Grounds on Thursday. After hoisting the National Flag and rendering Salute, the EO listed out a few important projects which were completed and under pipeline during his R-Day speech. Some excerpts:


We have successfully carried out the Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam for ten days providing Dwara Darshanam to over 6lakhs. Besides over 9700 devotees belonging to 197 backward areas were also provided the Dwara Darshanam. SSD tokens were successfully distributed and for the first time only Sarva Darshanam pilgrims are allowed.


The change in the VIP break darshan timings from December 1 onwards is yielding good results avoiding long waiting hours for common pilgrims and this system will be continued for two more months under trial-basis.


All arrangements are in place for Radhasapthami on January 28.


New Parakamani building will come into utility from February onwards.

World Class SV Museum and Modernisation of Laddu are also under way.


QR code which was successfully implemented in Srivari Seva for the sake of Srivari Sevakulu as a guide map to their service points will be implemented soon at all Reception offices for guiding the pilgrims also.


2068 temples in SC, ST, BC and fishermen colonies are under different stages of construction across the state under the funds of SRIVANI Trust. Another 150 ancient temples are also under renovation.


The cochlear, cleft palate surgeries in BIRRD and the 1000 successful heart surgeries in Sri Padmavathi Childrens' Health Centre are milestones in the medical services of TTD in recent times. A new Cancer Hospital is also underway which will be inaugurated this Dasara.


To meet the needs of the ever increasing pilgrim crowd to Tirumala, apart from MTVAC, mini Annaprasadams are also being operated.


The entire accommodation in Tirumala is spruced up for the common pilgrims at Rs.132 crores. One more PAC is coming up at Rs.100 crores.  


The prime focus of TTD is to ensure its pilgrims a hassle-free darshan, stay and a memorable pilgrimage experience and our strong workforce is committed to offer dedicated services to pilgrims for ever and ever.
