Elaborate Arrangements for Radha Saptami - TTD Eo

 After successfully organising Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam for ten days providing darshan to over six lakh pilgrims, TTD is now gearing up for yet another important fete, Radhasapthami on January 28 and preparations for the same are under way said, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.


Speaking to media persons after the monthly Dial your Programme in Tirumala at Annamaiah Bhavan on Friday, the EO said, on that day, Sri Malayappa Swamy will bless devotees on seven vahanas on Mada streets including Surya Prabha, Chinna Sesha, Garuda, Hanumanta, Kalpa Vruksha, Sarva Bhupala, and Chandra Prabha vahanas in between Chakrasnanam after four morning vahanams. A meeting with all the Heads of the departments in Tirumala was also conducted to discuss the preparations. 


Further briefing on Vaikunta dwara Darshan, the EO said,  TTD has provided Darshan to 9300 devotees belonging to SC/ST/ BC communities of 190 villages where TTD built the SV temples through SRIVANI Trust. TTD has garnered a revenue of Rs. 39.40 crores during these ten days.


In order to provide more Darshan to common devotees and to enhance more transparency in SRIVANI darshan, the number of SRIVANI tickets have been limited to just 1000 per day which includes 750 online and 250 offline. 


The EO said, TTD will conduct Goda Kalyanam on January 15 in the Parade Grounds of TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati. 


EO also said that Suprabhata Seva will resume in Tirumala temple from January 15 onwards with the conclusion of sacred Tiruppavai on January 14. 


JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore, CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, SE 2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy were also present.
