Annaprasadam and Water Facilities for Ramakrishna Theertha Mukkoti Pilgrims






In connection with Ramakrishna Theertha Mukkoti in Tirumala on February 5 on the auspicious occasion of Magha Pournami, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy held a review meeting with officials at Annamaiah Bhavan on Saturday.


The important decisions includes


To operate 30 RTC buses for every 5 minutes to transport devotees avoiding the private vehicles and taxis as there is not enough parking space in the Papavinasanam area. From the Gogarbham area onwards private vehicles will not be allowed.


To provide Annaprasadam and water to the devotees trekking Ramakrishna Theertha Mukkoti from 5am onwards at the Papavinasanam dam.


TTD Vigilance, Police to monitor the security of the devotees.


To allow one person from Vigilance, Police, Forest for every 15 meters from Chaluvabanda point to Ramakrishna Theertham


Devotees with heart-related diseases, Asthma, obesity, hypertension and aged are advised not to trek as the torrent is located interior in Seshachala Ranges and is very steep


To keep ready three medical teams at Papavinasanam dam, Chaluvabanda and Theertham in case of any emergency. 


After 12 noon the entry will be closed from the Papavinasanam dam 

to trek the Ramakrishna Theertham in view of the safety of devotees


SE 2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, GM Transport Sri Sesha Reddy, DyEOs Sri Harindranath, Sri Selvam, HO Dr Sridevi, Additional SP Sri Muniramaiah, VGO Sri Bali Reddy and other officials from TTD and police were also present.
