Dr. Raghu Ram, Founding Director, KIMS-USHALAKSHMI Centre for Breast Diseases calls on the Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan

Dr. P. Raghu Ram, Founding Director, KIMS-USHALAKSHMI Centre for Breast Diseases was on saturday called on Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana at the Raj Bhavan.

He narrated his outstanding service towards improving Breast cancer care in India and his pioneering efforts to create awareness amongst the citizenry about the importance of early detection of breast cancer through a number of innovative initiatives.

In an endeavour to create much greater impact amongst the younger generation about breast cancer advocacy, Dr Raghu Ram requested the Governor to facilitate the Foundation to empower the students studying in various Universities across Telangana, to which she readily agreed.

Dr. Raghu Ram then presented the First Print Copy of the 33rd quarterly issue of PINK CONNEXION (May - July 2023), an initiative of Ushalakshmi Breast cancer Foundation.

Hon'ble Governor appreciated the efforts of Dr. Raghu Ram for his pioneering efforts to create awareness amongst the citizenry about the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
