As part of observing the 615th Birth Anniversary festivities of Sri Annamacharya, the saint poet and an ardent devotee of Sri Venkateswara, Srinivasa Kalyanam was observed at Tallapaka, in Annamaiah district on Saturday, the home place of the Telugu Padakavita Piatamaha.
The celestial wedding ceremony commenced by the team of Archakas at Dhyana Mandiram by 10:30am. Punyahavachanam, Pavitra Homam, Kanakana Dharana, Mangalya Dharana, Mangala Sasanam, Nakshatra Harati and finally Mangala Harati were rendered.
Devotees turned out in larger numbers to witness the divine marriage fete.
Earlier in the morning Sapthagiri Sankeertana Gosthi Ganam was arranged.
In the evening, Sangeeta Sabha by Chennai-based Sarigama Music College followed by Harikatha Parayanam by Smt Ramya Krishna and team from Tirupati are arranged by TTD.

On the occasion, Unjal seva will be performed at 108 feet. Statue of Annamacharya by Project Artistes.
ZP Chief Sri Amarnath Reddy, Municipal Chairman Sri Srinivasulu Reddy, devotees were also present.
