Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam Held in Sri Kapileswara Swmay Vari Temple

The ceremonious Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was held on Saturday in the background of Brahmotsavam from February 19 to 28 at Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati.

It is customary to perform Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam, the temple cleansing fete before Brahmotsavam.  

On this occasion, the presiding deity was awakened in the morning with Suprabhatam and Abhishekam was performed. .

After that Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was held from 11.30 am to 3 pm. 

On this occasion, the sanctum sanctorum, Dhwaja Sthambham, sub-temples and temple surroundings were cleaned.

Temple Deputy EO Sri Devendra Babu, temple priests and other officials participated in this program.

All the Vahana Sevas will be held from 7 am to 9 am in the morning and again from 7 pm to 9 pm in the evening during Brahmotsavams.  

On the occasion of the mega festival, TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad will organize kolatams and bhajan programs before Vahana sevas every day.  Artists of the Annamacharya Project will sing Annamayya Sankeertans.
