Annamacharya 617th Jayanthi Celebrations from 12th to 18th May




The 617th birth anniversary celebrations of Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya will be held in a grand manner from May 12 to 18 by TTD.

The events will take place at his birthplace Tallapaka in the Dhyana Mandiram and at the 108-feet statue and also at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati.
At Tallapaka:
On May 12, Srinivasa Kalyanam will be performed at 10:30 AM in front of the Dhyana Mandiram. From May 12 to 14, devotional music and dance programs will be held in the evenings from 6PM to 8 PM near the 108-feet statue of Annamacharya.
At Tirupati:
At Annamacharya Kalamandiram, literary seminars will be conducted from May 13 to 17 between 10:30 AM and 1 PM. From May 12 to 18, morning and evening cultural programs including music and dance performances by eminent artists will be held.
These events are  organized under the auspices of TTD’s Annamacharya Project, in celebration of the saint-poet’s immense contribution towards the devotional music and literature.
