Koppera Hundi Donation to Tirumala

A Koppera Hundi was donated to the Tirumala temple on Friday. 

Sri Koppera Sai Suresh of Kopperavandlapalle near Tirupati, presented the specially crafted hundi to the Potu Peishkar Sri Munirathnam.

The donor said that the hundi, made by combining copper and brass, weighs 70 kilograms and is valued at Rs. 2.50 lakh. 

He also stated that their family has been offering Koppera Hundis to Sri Venkateswara Swamy as a tradition since the year 1821 from past 204 years.
