Pavitrotsavams at Jubilee Hills Sri Venkateswara Swamy Vari Temple from 17th to 19th October

The annual Pavithrotsavams will be conducted at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, from October 17 to 19, as per Agama traditions. 

The rituals will commence with Ankurarpanam on the evening of October 16.

Pavithrotsavam is a traditional purification ceremony performed to ward off any spiritual or ritual errors that may have occurred inadvertently during the year either by the devotees or temple staff.

As part of the program, Pavitra Pratishta will be conducted on October 17, Pavitra Samarpana and Pavitra Homams on October 18, and the Maha Purnahuti and Pavitra Visarjana will be performed on October 19.

On all three days, Snapana Tirumanjanam (holy bath ceremony) will be conducted to the utsava murthies of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi in the morning.
