Twenty Groups 452 Artists Shine During Surya Prabha















The Suryaprabha Vahana seva witnessed a wide range of artistes hailing from different states performing their art forms in a scintillating manner impressing the devotees who thronged the galleries of four mada streets on the seventh morning on Tuesday as a part of ongoing annual brahmotsavams in Tirumala.


The highlights of the day:

•  Andhra Pradesh, Telangana: Artists from these two states presented wonderful traditional dances like Kuchipudi, Kolatam, Peacock Dance, Sri Krishna Leela, Bathukamma, Mahishasura Mardini, and Drums.

•  Karnataka: 'Suryanarayanaya Namah' dance, 'Kilugurralu', 'Dollu Kunita' impressed the devotees.

•   Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Puducherry allured devotees with their traditional drums, 'Oilatam'.

While the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim performed 'Mopini' dance, Sikkimese folk dance, showcasing the diversity of the rich traditional Indian culture, besides West Bengal artists performed their colourful dance form that mused the devotees.
