₹ Nine Cr Donation to TTD - Chairman Felicitates the Donor

An NRI Sri Mantena Ramalinga Raju, a resident of the United States, donated Rs. Nine crore to TTD on Wednesday towards the modernisation of pilgrim accommodation complexes in Tirumala, in the name of his daughter Smt. Mantena Nethra and son-in-law Sri Vamsi Gadiraju.

On this occasion, the TTD Chairman held a media conference at Padmavathi Rest House in Tirumala and felicitated the donor. 

He said that Sri Mantena Ramara Raju had earlier donated Rs. 16.06 crore to TTD in 2012. 

The Chairman appreciated his gesture for coming forward once again to support the development of basic amenities for devotees in Tirumala. 

He also expressed hope that he would continue to contribute more donations to TTD in the future.

Vizianagaram MP Sri Kalisetty Appala Naidu, TTD Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, and others participated in the programme.
