Pushpayagam Held

The annual Pushpayagam of Sri Padmavati Devi was held on Wednesday evening in a spectacular way.

From 5pm till 8pm nearly 14 varieties of aromatic flowers and leaves were used to offer a divine floral bath to the Utsava deity of Sri Padmavati Devi in Sri Krishna Mukha Mandapam.

Usually this celestial fete is observed on the immediate day after annual Karthika brahmotsavams at Tiruchanoor as a sin free ritual.

Earlier in the afternoon after 1:30pm, these flowers were brought to the Mandapam in a colourful procession covering temple streets. 

Temple DyEO Sri Harindranath, Garden Dy Director Sri Srinivasulu, AEO Sri Devarajulu and others, devotees were present.
