Special Festivals at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple in December

The following are the details of the special festivals to be observed in the Sri Govindarajaswamy Temple during the month of December:

December 4: Karthika Deepotsavam will be performed at 6 PM 

December 4: Sri Tirumangai Alwar Sattumora.

December 5: On the occasion of Rohini Nakshatram, Sri Parthasarathi Swamy along with His consorts Sri Rukmini and Sri Satyabhama will bless devotees during a procession at 6pm

December 12, 19, 26 (Fridays): Sri Andal Ammavaru will bless devotees in the Mada Streets at 6PM.

December 13: On the occasion of Uttara Nakshatram, Sri Govindaraja Swamy will be taken in procession along with Ubhaya Nachiyars to bless devotees at 6 PM.

December 14: Tiruvadi Sannidhi Utsavam. As part of the celebrations, at 2PM, Sri Govindaraja Swamy along with Ubhaya Nachiyars will be taken in procession to the Edukku Anjaneya Swamy Sannidhi. At 5:30 PM, Sri Anjaneya Swamy, along with Swami and Ammavaru, will bless devotees during a procession in the Mada Streets.

December 19: Sri Thondaradippodi Alwar Tirunakshatram.

December 23: On the occasion of Sravana Nakshatram, Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy along with Ubhaya Nachiyars will bless devotees in the four Mada Streets at 6 PM.

December 25: Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam.

December 30: Vaikunta Ekadasi

December 31: Mukkoti Dwadasi. 

On both these days, at 9AM, Sri Govindaraja Swamy along with Sri Devi and Bhu Devi will be taken in procession in the four Mada Streets to bless devotees.
