Special Decorations to ReflectsTelugu Tradition During Brahmotsavams - TTD Addl Eo








District Collector Dr. Cherukuri Sridhar directed officials of all departments to make advance arrangements in coordination to provide convenient services to devotees visiting the annual Brahmotsavams at the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Ontimitta.


A review meeting regarding the arrangements for the Sri Sitarama Kalyanotsavam was held on Monday at the TTD Guest House in Ontimitta.


Speaking on the occasion, the District Collector said that a large number of devotees are expected to attend Sri Ramanavami and Sri Sitarama Kalyanotsavam. Hence, all departments should work with a comprehensive action plan covering security, parking, distribution of Annaprasadam, temporary toilets, uninterrupted power supply, first-aid centres, APSRTC bus services, help desks, signboards, sanitation, and public address systems.


Special decorations reflecting Telugu tradition: TTD Additional EO Sri C.H. Venkaiah Chowdary


TTD Additional EO Sri C.H. Venkaiah Chowdary instructed officials to undertake special decorations reflecting Telugu culture and tradition during the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Brahmotsavams.


He informed that the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu, will offer Pattu Vastrams to the deities during the Sri Sitarama Kalyanotsavam to be held on April 1.


He directed that attractive electrical and floral decorations be arranged to captivate devotees. He also said that Srivari Sevaks, police personnel, and TTD staff should work in coordination so that devotees waiting in the galleries near the Kalyana Vedika do not face any inconvenience.


Considering the summer season, he instructed officials to arrange water sprinkling near the Kalyana Vedika and take precautionary measures to protect devotees from heatstroke. He also stressed the need to coordinate with local authorities and pay special attention to cleanliness and sanitation. Coordination with the police was advised to avoid parking issues.


He further instructed that proper management should be ensured in the galleries and that Annaprasadam, drinking water, Srivari Sevaks, and a concerned official be arranged in each gallery so that facilities are provided to devotees in a planned manner.


TTD JEO Sri V. Veerabrahmam informed that the programmes will commence with Ankurarpanam on March 26, and the Brahmotsavams will begin with Dwajarohanam on March 27. He advised officials of various departments to coordinate effectively regarding the arrangements.


Tight security arrangements for devotees: TTD CVSO Sri K.V. Muralikrishna


TTD CVSO Sri K.V. Muralikrishna stated that tight security arrangements are being made in coordination with the police to ensure that devotees attending the Sri Sitarama Kalyanotsavam do not face any inconvenience. He suggested setting up a toll-free number through the Command Control Centre to respond immediately to any issues faced by devotees. He requested that staff on duty and Srivari Sevaks provide services through this number.


Several district officials and TTD officers including TTD CE Sri Satyanarayana, SEs Sri Manoharam, Sri Venkateswarlu, Sri Narasimharmurthy, Deputy EOs Sri Selvam and Sri Sivaprasad, and Annaprasadam Special Officer Sri G.L.N. Sastry, among others, participated in the meeting.
