Hanuman Jayanthi Celebrated Grandly in TTD Local Temples

Devotees participated in Hanuman Jayanthi celebrations with devotion and chants of Lord Rama’s name at various TTD local temples on Tuesday.

The festivities were held grandly at Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple and Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in Tirupati, Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Appalayagunta, Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple at Vontimitta and other affiliated temples of TTD.

Special pujas, abhishekams and Vahana Sevas were conducted on the occasion. At Tirupati Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple, special abhishekam was performed to Sri Anjaneya Swamy and Sri Sita Rama Lakshmana Utsava deities, followed by Hanumantha Vahana Seva in the evening.

Similar special rituals and abhishekams were also held at Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Appalayagunta and Ontimitta temples amid devotional fervour.

Temple officials, priests and a large number of devotees participated in the celebrations.
