Sri Govindaraja Swamy Varu Shines on Simha Vahanam











On the third day of the annual Brahmotsavams at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Sri Govindaraja Swamy blessed devotees on Simha Vahanam on Monday morning from 7 am to 9 am. The temple streets reverberated with Govinda chants, Vedic hymns, mangala vadyams and cultural performances, creating a spiritually vibrant atmosphere.


The lion symbolizes courage, majesty and divine strength. Mounted on Simha Vahanam, the Lord appeared as the embodiment of supreme valor and protection, showering blessings upon devotees.


Later, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the deities with milk, curd, honey, sandal paste and fruit juices.


Unjal Seva will be held from 5.30 pm to 6 pm, followed by the grand Pearl Canopy Vahanam Seva from 7 pm to 9 pm, where the Lord will bless devotees amidst the soothing glow of pearls symbolizing peace and serenity.


TTD officials, Jeeyar Swamys, temple staff, Srivari Sevaks and a large number of devotees participated in the festivities.
