SRI KALYANA VENKATESWARA SWAMY VASANTHOTSAVAMS CONCLUDE GRANDLY

The three-day Vasanthotsavams at Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple concluded on a grand and devotional note on Saturday amid Vedic chants, mangala vadyams and Govinda namasmarana.

As part of the festivities, Suprabhata Seva, Thomala Seva, Koluvu, Panchanga Sravanam and Sahasranamarchana were performed in the morning. Later, Asthanam was held in the Vasantha Mandapam for the processional deities of Sri Venkateswara Swamy with Sridevi and Bhudevi, Sri Sita Rama Lakshmana Anjaneya Swamy and Sri Krishna Swamy with Rukmini and Satyabhama.

Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed grandly from 1.45 pm to 3.30 pm with milk, curd, honey, coconut water, turmeric and sandal paste as per Vaikhanasa Agama traditions. Vedic hymns filled the temple premises with spiritual fervour.

In the evening, Unjal Seva will be held followed by a procession of the deities in the four mada streets.

Temple Special Grade Deputy EO Smt Varalakshmi, Superintendent Sri Ramesh Babu, Temple Inspectors Sri Muni Kumar and Sri Dhana Sekhar, priests and a large number of devotees participated.
