SRIVARI SARE PRESENTED TO SRI TATAIAHGUNTA GANGAMMA

TTD presented the traditional Srivari Sare to Sri Tataiahgunta Gangamma Temple on Saturday evening amid devotional fervour, melam, mangala vadyams and cultural performances.

TTD Tirumala Potu AEO Sri Gundluru Muniratnam carried the sare in a grand procession from Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple and handed it over to Temple Chairman Sri Mahesh Yadav.

The annual Gangamma Jatara, which began on May 5, will continue till May 13. As per tradition, Sri Gangamma is considered the sister of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, and Srivari Sare is offered every year during the Jatara.

Tirupati MLA Sri Arani Srinivasulu, TTD Board members Sri Jyothula Nehru, Smt Panabaka Lakshmi, Smt Janakidevi, officials, employees and devotees participated in the event.
