Divine Chakrananam Marks Grand Conclusion of Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Brahmotsavams

The grand annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Tirupati, reached its auspicious culmination with the sacred Chakrasnanam ritual, performed amidst deep devotion and religious fervour.

In this concluding ceremony, the holy Sudarshana Chakra — the divine discus of Lord Vishnu — was ceremonially bathed (snanam) by the temple priests. The sacred idol, beautifully decorated with tulasi garlands and floral arrangements, was held reverentially as priests performed the ritual ablutions, with the surroundings richly carpeted in pink and white rose petals, symbolising purity and divine grace.

Thousands of devotees participated and received the blessings of the Lord. The festivities will formally conclude with Dhwajavarohanam on Sunday night.

TTD officials and temple priests participated in the ceremony.
