The second day of the annual Brahmotsavams at Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Appalayagunta, was celebrated with great spiritual fervour on Friday. Adorned as Goddess Saraswati and seated on the sacred Hamsa Vahanam, the Lord gave divine darshan to devotees amid Vedic chants, bhajans, traditional kolatam, and Govinda namasmarana.
Holding the Veena, the Lord symbolized wisdom, knowledge, and purity. The Hamsa, the vehicle of Goddess Saraswati, signifies the ability to choose good over evil, conveying the message that the Lord resides forever in the hearts of devotees with pure minds and noble thoughts.
On the third day (Saturday), the Lord will bless devotees on Simha Vahanam at 8.00 a.m. and Mutyapu Pandiri Vahanam at 7.00 p.m.
TTD Deputy EO Sri Harindranath, officials, temple priests, Srivari Sevaks, and a large number of devotees participated in the festivities.
