Yoga Practice Leads to Mental Peace and Holistic Development - TTD EO





Sri M. Ravichandra  EO TTD,   stated that yoga practice is highly beneficial for mental peace, physical fitness, and a healthy lifestyle. On Friday, he reviewed the arrangements for the programs to be conducted on the occasion of International Yoga Day on June 21, along with concerned officials at the Sudharma meeting hall in Sri Padmavathi Guest House, Tirumala.

Speaking on the occasion, the Executive  Officer said that yoga awareness and special training programs should be conducted daily under the aegis of TTD from June 7 to 21. He noted that yoga helps in reducing stress and anxiety and contributes to overall personality development. He emphasized that yoga is an excellent practice for people of all age groups to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

He directed the officials to make elaborate arrangements for the successful conduct of International Yoga Day in coordination with Isha Foundation, Patanjali Yogpeeth, Ramachandra Mission, Brahma Kumaris, and TTD SV Ayurvedic Hospital.

He further instructed that special yoga training programs should be organized from June 7 to 21 for TTD employees, women employees, students, youth, senior citizens, and patients in hospitals. He emphasized that these initiatives should not be limited to Yoga Day alone but should be continued as an ongoing process. He also suggested organizing special programs in educational institutions to create awareness and interest in yoga among students from a young age.

He directed that all necessary arrangements be made for the grand celebration of International Yoga Day on June 21 at 6:00 AM at the Parade Grounds of the TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati. He also suggested organizing a large-scale yoga awareness rally with thousands of participants after the event.

Additional EO Sri C.H. Venkayya Chowdary, JEO (Education & Health) Dr. Sharath, CVSO Sri Muralikrishna, CE Sri Satyanarayana, DFO Sri Phanikumar Naidu, Welfare Deputy EO Sri Anandaraju, and other officials participated in the meeting.
