Ashok Selvan-Niharika Starrer “Production No.7” bankrolled by Kenanya Films

 





“Dramedy” has been the catchphrase of contemporary Western films, but it has been an inherent part of Indian film fraternity, especially the Tamil industry even before this term came into existence. Our showpieces involving beautiful family dramas laced emotions, humor, relationships, and bonding has been greater in numbers. And now, producer J Selvakumar, Kenanya Films is bringing back the fragrance of Dramedy through his next production. Tentatively titled as ‘Production No.7’, the film features Ashok Selvan and Niharika in lead roles, which marks the directorial debut of Swathini, a former assistant to Suseenthiran. Today, the production works of this film have commenced with music Leon James kick-starting the recording session of songs.


Producer J Selvakumar says, “We at Kenanya Films have always been eager to introduce new talents and have been very much particular about delivering contents that savour the tastes of universal audiences. I have always looked up high on Bollywood’s most reputed production house – Rajshri Productions that has continuously churned out greatest family entertainers of all times like Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Hum Saath Saath Hain… Accordingly, when I was looking out for scripts of a similar paradigm that has an appropriate blend of family, comedy, love, and emotions, Swathini approached us with a script that looked perfect. Furthermore, she took additional responsibility for reworking and furnishing her script with more family values and substantial characterizations nearly for a year. With Ashok Selvan’s career graph skyrocketing after the grand success of Oh My Kadavule, I felt more comfortable in expanding the production values of this film. We are happy to have the talented actress Niharika, who can deliver the best emotions effortlessly. Today (June 9, 2020), we have kick-started the film’s production with the composing session by music director Leon James. We have decided to start the shooting after the situation is back to complete normalcy. We are looking forward to releasing the film exactly 5 months from the commencement of shooting.”


Talks are going on with prominent actors and technicians to be a part of this film. As of now, Leon James (Music), AR Soorya (Cinematography), and Richard Kevin (Editing) are the technicians, who have been confirmed on board.

Chakrasnanam Marks the End of Annual Brahmotsavams at Appalayagunta

 







Appalayagunta, 10 Jun. 20: The annual brahmotsavams at Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple at Appalayagunta concluded on Wednesday.

Earlier, the processional deities of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi were given celestial Snapana Tirumanjanam with different aromatic ingredients. Later the Sudarshana Chakrattalwar was immersed in a Gangalam filled with water within the temple premises itself in view of Covid 19 restrictions.

Temple DyEO Smt Jhansi Rani, Agama Advisor Sri NAK Sundaravaradan, Chief Priest Sri Surya Kumar Acharyulu, Kankana Bhattar Sri Tippayya Acharyulu, Superintendent Sri Gopala Krishna Reddy were also present.

Sundrakanda To Commence from 11th June

 
Tirumala, 10 Jun. 20: The Yoga Vasishtyam and Dhanwantari Maha Mantra Parayanam, devotional programme mulled by TTD is aimed at to weed off Corona COVID 19 virus from the entire world and resume darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy at Tirumala, has won the hearts of millions and millions of devotees across the globe.
The programme designed by Additional EO of TTD and SVBC MD Sri AV Dharma Reddy which commenced on April 10, in the Nada Neerajanam platform at Tirumala, continued for 62 days and concluded on Wednesday. The Principal of Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham at Tirumala, Sri KSS Avadhani carried out the programme with finesse with Mantra Parayanam which was telecasted live by Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel of TTD every day between 7am and 8am.
Apart from the Yoga Vasishtyam and Dhanwantari Maha Mantra Parayanam, every day, one Mantram invoking the blessings of one deity who is considered auspicious for that weekday was also recited including Gayatri Stotram, Harinama Maala Stotram, Garuda Dandakam, Anjaneya Navarathnamala, Dakshinamurthy Varnamala Stotram, Sri Goda Stuti, Kamalajadayitastakam, Hayagreeva kavacham, Sudarshana Stotram, Sri Stuthi, Sri Varaha Kavacham, Sri Venkateswara Saranagati Stotram etc. were rendered on each day on all these 62 days.
Each day one department in TTD took part in this Parayanam. Tirumala locals also took part in this programme. All the guidelines of COVID 19 were strictly observed during the seating arrangements in the Nada Neerajana Mandapam. TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy, EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, Tirupati JEO Sri P Basant Kumar, heads of various departments participated in this programme on each day.
On the last day of Yoga Vasishtyam, the artists of Annamacharya Project of TTD participated and rendered melodious notes of Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya and raised spiritual fervour among the participants by reciting Govinda Namas in a vibrant manner. TTD Asthana Vidhwan Dr G Balakrishna Prasad, senior artists Dr G Madhusudhana Rao, Sri Raghunath, Smt Bullemma rendered Annamacharya Sankeertans and Namas. TTD Trust Board Member Sri Vaidyanathan Krishnamurthy, Annamacharya Project Director Sri S Dakshinamurthy were also present.

Seeing the unprecedented reception from devotees present across the world, TTD has placed all the Mantra Malas recited during the last 62 days in its official website for the ease of the devotees.  
SUNDARAKANDA PARAYANAM
As the Darshan for pilgrims is set to resume on June 11, TTD has now planned to recite the popular "Sundarakanda Stotra Manjari" from Thursday onwards. Sundarakanda is usually recited for restoring peace and harmony on the domestic front and also to remove negative forces and protects against diseases ensuring good health and overcoming financial crises. This programme will also be live telecasted by SVBC between 7am and 8am from Nada Neerajana Mandapam at Tirumala.

Director Teja will be introducing wannabe actors with his next film. For the first time in Tollywood, an audition process is happening through social media platform. Helo app proudly takes the chance to introduce talent to Tollywood

Teja has also proclaimed that only applications uploaded on Help app will be considered for final audition.

The film will be bankrolled by prestigious Abhishek Agarwal Arts and People Media Factory.

Teja on his birthday had announced two films one is with Rana and the other one is with Gopichand. Rakshasa Raju Ravanasurudu and Alimelu Manga Venkata Ramana were the titles registered for these films.

We need to wait for some more time to know for which among these projects the auditions process will be!
