Srivari Float Fetival from 24th to 28th March


Tirumala, 17 Mar. 21: TTD is organising a five day annual Srivari float festival (Teppotsavam) at Swami Pushkarini in Tirumala from March 24-28.

 

Teppotsavam, also known as Tirupalli Vodai Tirunal in Tamil and Teppa Tirunallu in Telugu, is symbolic to Sri Venkateswara annual boat festival celebrations.

 

Legends say that the float festival has been in vogue since time immemorial and in 1468 a Nirala Mandapam was built in the Swami Pushkarini by King Saluva Narasimha Raya.

 

In the 15th century, Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya had described the Teppotsavam in his sankeetans.

 

The festival of procession of utsava idols of Sri Malayappa and His consorts in serene waters of Swamy Pushkarini in the evenings, ahead of summer months is always a cynosure.

 

On the first day the utsava idols of Sri Sitalakshmana Anjaneya sameta Sri Ramachandramurty adorn the float. On second day Utsava idols of Rukmini sameta Sri Krishna go round three times.

 

On the last three days, Sri Malayappa Swamy and His consorts Sri Devi and Sri Bhudevi go for three, five and seven rounds respectively to regale and bless devotees.

 

ARJITA SEVAS CANCELLED

 

In view of Teppotsavams, the TTD has cancelled the arjita sevas (virtual) including Sahasra Deepalankara on March 24 and 25, Arjita Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara from March 26 to 28.

Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Vari Brahmotsavam's at Tarigonda from 20th March to 28th March


Tirupati, 17 Mar. 21: The annual brahmotsavams in the ancient temple of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at Tarigonda in Chittoor district will be observed from March 20 to 28 with Ankurarpanam on March 29.

 

The important days includes Dhwajarohanam on March 20, Kalyanotsavam and Garuda Seva on March 25, Rathotsavam on March 26, Vasanthotsavam, Chakrasnanam, Dhwjavarohanam on March 28.

 

Kalyanotsavam will be observed between 7pm and 9pm. While Pushpayagam will be performed on March 29 between 5pm and 7pm. 

Kondanda Rama Dons Mohini Avatara





Tirupati, 17 Mar. 21: Sri Rama donned the Avatara of Universal Damsel Mohini and blessed devotees on Pallaki Vahanam. 

 

On the fifth day of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple at Tirupati on Wednesday, the processional deity in His religious splendour cheered on the finely decked palanquin. 

 

In view of Covid guidelines, the annual fete is taking place in Ekantam.

Vaikunta Rama Rides Garuda Vahana




Tirupati, 17 Mar. 21: On the fifth day of ongoing annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kodandaramaswami temple at Tirupati in Sri Vaikunta Rama alankaram blessed devotees on Garuda vahana on Wednesday evening. 

 

The annual fete is being observed in Ekantham as per Covid guidelines.

 

Garuda seva is most significant among Brahmotsavams. Garuda is the chariot of Sri Mahavishnu and is hailed as sacrosanct.

 

Tirumala Pontiffs, temple special grade DyEO Smt Parvati, AEO Sri Durgaraju, Superintendent Sri Ramesh and others were present.

Isha Chawla plays a Blind women who traces her sister’s death in upcoming film Agochara!




Self-Motivated Delhi beauty Isha Chawla has made a mark for herself in Telugu industy with her acting skills. Now the actress is all set to surprise her fans with powerful character of …  in her upcoming film Agochara.


She will essay the role of a blind women. The character has many shades. It is an impactful character in the movie. The film is helmed by cinematographer Kabir Lal, It marks his Directorial debut.

Elated about the role, Isha says, “I have known Kabir sir since long and I am happy to work with him. The script have me goosebumps and I was super excited to work. It was like I was awaiting for this role to come to me. When the story was narrated by Kabir sir, I was on cloud nine and in no time I agreed to be a part of the project.”

Isha’s character is pivotal and to get into the skin of the character she has put in loads of efforts. Talking about the same, Isha states,  “ Playing a blind character is challenging not only mentally but also emotionally. My character believes in conquering the world with her inner strength. This would be one of the best experiences of my life.”

Actor Kamalraju is essaying the role of a husband who is a psycologist.
Agochara movie is a Love-Revenge Thriller Film. How an incident changes the life of characters completely forms the plot of the movie. Currently, the cast and crew is shooting the film in beautiful resort in Dehradhun. Bankrolled by Lovely World Production, and the film is slated to release in June.

ZEE5 TO PREMIERE 'NINNILA NINNILA' ON MARCH 19

 


 Ashok Selvan, Nithya Menen, Ritu Varma-starrer to stream in four languages

From true-blue Telugu originals, direct-to-stream movies, and Originals, ZEE5’s range of content has been phenomenal.

Weeks after the engaging feature film 'Ninnila Ninnila' was released on ZeePlex, the feel-good romance drama starring Ashok Selvan, Nithya Menen and Ritu Varma, is now will now stream on ZEE5 from March 19 onwards in four languages - Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

The critically-acclaimed film which received positive reviews when it started streaming on ZeePlex in February, is directed by Ani IV Sasi. Produced by Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra LLP and Zee Studios, it has come from producer BVSN Prasad and presenter Bapineedu B.

Starring Nasser in a key role and comedian Satya as a funny cook, the film tells a love story set in London.

The film has music by Rajesh Murugesan and cinematography by Diwakar Mani. Lyrics are by Sreemani. Naga Chanda, Anusha and Jayanth Panuganti have penned the dialogues. Sri Nagendra Thangala's art direction came in for much praise from critics. Editing is by Naveen Nooli.



TTD Eo Inspects TTD Call Centre




Tirupati, 16 Mar. 21: TTD Executive Officer Dr KS Jawahar Reddy has directed the officials concerned to deploy the latest technology at the TTD Call Centre to provide comprehensive information and latest updates to devotees.

 

The TTD EO who inspected the Call Centre at the TTD Administrative Building on Tuesday enquired about recording of suggestions and complaints by devotees and also  responses to them.

 

Sri Sesha Reddy, chief of IT wing explained to TTD EO on the process of response and data provision by all other TTD wings to devotees queries and suggestions.

 

TTD CIO Sri LM Sandeep, IT manager Sri Nadhamuni, call centre staff and other officials were present.
