Plavanama Commences on A FruitFul Note in Tirumala

 Tirumala, 13 Apr. 21: On the auspicious occasion of Plavanama Ugadi, the Garden wing of TTD made spectacular floral decorations which caught the attention of devotees on Tuesday. 

 

Starting from the entrance of the temple till Golden Threshold, the dioramas made of fruits, flowers brought an aesthetic feel of Bhooloka Vaikuntha to the pilgrims.

 

Matching the occasion, splendid decorations were made in a big way with tonnes of varieties of traditional flowers and thousands of cut flowers. Florists, curtlery artists from Karnataka and AP done decorations with innovative concepts.

 

On the whole eight tonnes of traditional flowers, 70thousand cut flowers were donated by donors from Hyderabad, Salem while decorations were done by artistes from Vijayawada and Bengaluru.

 

This year unique dioramas using Janur art for the first time were displayed which stood as special attraction. Janur art is one where the floral decorations are made using Coconut leaves as the supportive background over a steel mesh. 

 

The roof of Dhwaja Mandapam was decked with Tooti-Frooti sky with varieties of fruits, flowers hanging colourfully. Another special attraction was the of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy made of Navadhanayas. The Dasavataras in watermelon also remained a cynosure inside temple while the elephants, Sri Krishna Leela out side temple caught the attention of pilgrims.

Ugadi Fest Observed in All Local Temples




Tirupati, 13 Apr. 21: The festival of Ugadi was observed with religious aplomb in all local temples after TTD in and around Tirupati on Tuesday. 

 

The temples are decked with flowers and raw mangoes, fruits to welcome Plavanama Ugadi. 

 

The Vedic Scholars rendered panchanga sravanam in all temples followed by Ugadi Asthanam. 

 

The DyEOs of respective temples participated.

Paavanama Ugadi Asthanam Held


Tirumala, 13 April 2021: The traditional temple court on the occasion of Plavanama Ugadi was held in Tirumala temple on Tuesday. 

 

After the customary rituals, the presiding deity as well processional deities were presented with new silk vastrams. 

 

Earlier, Panchanga Shravanam was rendered by the Vedic Scholar who has delivered fortunes in the year 2021-22 till next Ugadi. 

 

Later Rupaya Harati followed by special Harati were rendered on the occasion. 

 

TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy, EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, members Sri Sekhar Reddy, Sri Prasad, Smt Nischita, Sri Muralikrishna, Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, DyEO Sri Harindranath were also present.

Mahesh Babu starrer big-budgeted ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ is Directed by Talented Director Parasuram Petla. Mythri Movie Makers, GMB Entertainments, 14 Reels Plus are jointly producing this prestigious movie. Keerthy Suresh is the heroine. Latest Music Sensation Thaman S.S. is composing the music. Governor celebrates Ugadi at Raj Bhavan

Extends greetings to all the Telugu people

Hyderabad, April 13: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan took part in the Ugadi celebrations at the Raj Bhavan, here, on Tuesday.

In true spirit of the Telugu New Year, the Governor got the traditional Ugadi Pachadi prepared at the Main House, the official residence of the Governor, and served the guests on the occasion.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan also took care to prepare the other traditional dishes made up of jaggery that are traditionally prepared to treat the Raj Bhavan pariwar members and a few guests.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor stated that she was blessed to get her wish fulfilled to celebrate the Telugu New Year, Plava naama Ugadi festival, at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad, with the pariwar members and other guests.

“I hope, wish, and pray that the beginning of the Telugu New Year might also mark the beginning of the end of Covid-19 pandemic. I wish this Plava naama Ugadi help us sail through the pandemic and see its end,” she added.

The Governor extended her wishes to the people of Telangana and all the Telugu people living all over the world a very happy Ugadi and wished for a healthy, happy, and prosperous year ahead for all.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan said that the Plava Ugadi signifies the year of Knowledge and Wisdom.

Referring to her constitutional role as the Lt. Governor in Puducherry, where the President’s rule is in force, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan stated that though the additional job demands more time there, I equally think of the well-being of Telangana people all the time.

“Whenever I speak for additional vaccines and additional supplies of Remdesivir injections, I equally give top priority to Telangana State. I am getting additional supplies of the same for Telangana and this gives me immense happiness,” she added.

Financial Aid for Nutritional Intervention for tribal people:

Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan extended a financial assistance of Rs 8.66 lakh from her discretionary grants towards the nutritional intervention programme for the benefit of the primitive tribal groups of people in the State.

The Governor handed over the cheque for the amount to the Indian Red Cross Society to coordinate the nutritional intervention programme to improve the nutritional status of the primitive tribal people in select districts of the State.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan also held a detailed review meeting with the representatives of the IRCS, doctors of the ESIC medical college, scientists of the National Institute of Nutrition and the officials of the TRIFED.

She reviewed the time-bound action plan to improve the nutritional status, livelihoods and other living conditions of the primitive tribal people.

Governor extends Rs 50,000 financial aid to self-employed women:

The Governor also extended a financial aid of Rs 50,000 from her discretionary grants towards the purchase of raw materials for handmade designs by women of Raj Bhavan pariwar.

Taking a look at their designs, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan said that their designs were trend-setting and highly creative. “Many were asking about my trendy mask when I went to cast my vote in Tamil Nadu. I proudly said that this was the product of my Raj Bhavan Pariwar women,” she added.

The women of Raj Bhavan pariwar, as a part of an initiative by the Governor, were trained in hand made designs to promote the spirit of Atma Nirbhar Bharath and help women get financial independence.

Moved by the plight of one attendant, who suffered a paralytic stroke recently and is undergoing treatment, the Governor extended a financial assistance of Rs 25,000 to one Bhavani. The Governor handed over the cheque for the amount to Bhavani.

Earlier, Ameerpet Kanakadurga Temple Priests performed Ashirvachanam and blessed the Governor and her husband, eminent Nephrologist Dr. P. Soundararajan on the auspicious occasion of Telugu New Year day.

Ravi Teja, Sarath Mandava, SLV Cinemas LLP Production No 4 Launched







Basking under the glory of 2021’s first blockbuster Krack, Mass Maharaja has given nod to another interesting project. He will join forces with a debut director Sarath Mandava. Though he is a Telugu, Sarath Mandava previously worked as writer for films of Venkatesh, Ajith, Kamal Haasan, Mohan Lal etc.

Although Ravi Teja committed to do films with other directors, he advanced Sarath Mandava’s movie, since he was bowled by the script. Billed to be a unique thriller with story inspired from true incidents, Ravi Teja plays a never-seen-before role in the movie.

Divyansha Koushik of Majili fame is roped in as the heroine opposite Ravi Teja in the film to be produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas LLP. Sam CS will score music, while Sathyan Sooryan will crank the camera.

The production no 4 of SLV Cinemas LLP is launched today in film’s office. For the muhurtham shot on gods images, Ravi Teja sounded the clapboard, while Mythri Movie Makers producer Ravi Shankar switched on the camera. Producer Sudhakar Cherukuri handed over the script to director Sarath Mandava.

The film’s regular shoot will begin from this month.
