Refund or Break Darshan For Arjita Seva Devotees



Tirumala, 23 Apr. 21:  TTD has provided yet another opportunity to either refund or break Darshan for devotees who purchased Arjita Seva tickets during the lockdown period March 20 to June 20 of the year 2020.

 

In a special consideration for Srivari devotees, TTD has extended the time till December 31,2021 and appealed all those with arjita Seva tickets to utilise the opportunity without fail.

Majestic Sri Rama Pattabhishekam at Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Vari Temple








Tirupati, 23 April 2021: As part ongoing of the Sri Ramanavami celebrations, the spectacular fete of Sri Rama Pattabishekam was conducted in the Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple on Friday night in ekantham due to COVID-19 guidelines.

 

Earlier the utsava idol was given Chaturdasha Kalasha Snapana thirumanjanam in the temple Yagashala after morning rituals of Tomala and Sahasra Namarchana and Agni pratista.

 

As part of colourful, devotional lyrics vibrant and traditional Sri Rama Pattabhishekam fete TTD Archakas organised a host of Agama rituals and thereafter the utsava idols were taken in a procession inside the temple premises.

Vontimitta Kodanda Rama Swamy Rides Simha Vahanam











Vontimitta, 23 April 2021: On Friday evening, the third day of the ongoing annual Sri Ramanavami Brahmotsavam of Vontimetta Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple, Kodandarama rode on Simha vahana in ekantham due to Covid quarantine.

 

Simha, the Lion, is a symbol of bravery, leadership, strength and Sri Kodandarama is an embodiment of all virtues. Darshan of Sri Rama o such a vehicle imbibed all, such virtues and enabled devotees to face hardships in life.

Governor calls for services of NSS, JRC, and YRC volunteers for Covid-19 prevention awareness and to promote vaccination

















Hyderabad, April 23: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Friday called for the utilisation of services of the volunteers of the National Service Scheme, Junior Red Cross and Youth Red Cross to create awareness on Covid-19 prevention and to promote vaccination.

The Governor said that while strictly adhering to the Covid-appropriate behaviour, the volunteers can offer their services in creating awareness about the proper wearing of masks, maintaining social distance and avoiding gatherings among all the sections of the people in their respective places.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, in her capacity as the Chancellor of all the State universities, held a video conference with the vice-chancellors of different universities and the senior officials of the education department.

During the video conference, she pointed out that students of higher educational institutions and volunteers of different wings like NSS, NCC, YRC and JRC are a great resource for the utilisation to promote right awareness among the people.

“We may come out with the best medicines, ventilators, or oxygen supplies, but it is very important to prevent the spread of the pandemic by educating different sections of the people. Public education is very vital in the prevention of the pandemics of this nature,” said Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan.

“Though there is no need to panic, the situation is really alarming. It is anguishing to know that at least 40 per cent of the Covid-19 patients are youth. There is an urgent need to create better awareness about the necessity for the strict adherence to the preventive norms,” she said.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan exhorted the vice-chancellors to encourage their students to launch social media campaigns and to come up with innovative ideas on the promotion of preventive norms and to encourage vaccination.

The Governor also instructed the vice-chancellors to ensure 100 per cent vaccination of their teaching and non-teaching staff. All the eligible students, who are above 18 years, must also be encouraged to go for vaccination beginning from May 1.

The Governor also reviewed the progress related to online classes, online examination, online valuation, results declaration, and the preventive norms in place in the campuses.

She directed the vice-chancellors to expedite the networking and registration of all the alumni of their respective universities so as to utilise alumni services for the all-round development of the campuses and for the benefit of the present students.

The Governor suggested the universities to build online and digital library resources for the benefit of those underprivileged students, who cannot access the online classes on time.

Special Chief Secretary (Education) to Government Chitra Ramachandran, senior IAS officers Jayesh Ranjan, Arvind Kumar, B. Janardhan Reddy, Naveen Mittal, Neetu Kumari Prasad, Vikas Raj, Rahul Bojja and the vice-chancellors of different universities presented their reports to the Governor.

Secretary to Governor K. Surendra Mohan and other senior officials of the Raj Bhavan were present.

Producer Dil Raju unveils Kothi Kommachi theme number




The animated version of ‘Ko Ko Ko Kothi Kommachi’, a uniquely conceptualised theme song from the youthful entertainer Kothi Kommachi, directed by National award-winning filmmaker Satish Vegesna, was released by leading producer Dil Raju recently. Shot in 2D animation, the theme song has been the buzzword among one and all across social media upon its release. Produced by MLV Sathyanarayana under Lakshya Productions, Kothi Kommachi stars Meghamsh Srihari, Sameer Vegesna, Riddhi Kumar and Megha Chowdhury in pivotal roles.


Director Satish Vegesna adds, “I’m grateful to producer Dil Raju for releasing the theme song of our film. The song was initially conceptualised for an interesting situation in the film but we felt it would be unique to release an animated version of the same. While the lead actors groove to the song in the feature film, we’ve made a bunch of monkeys come up with catchy moves in this animated version, going by our title. Sri Mani’s lyrics and Anup Rubens’ catchy music add lustre to this number that’s sure to catch the attention of children. Kothi Kommachi is a clean youthful entertainer, perfect for family viewing,”.

“Thanks to the theme song, we’ve kickstarted the promotions with a bang. We’re confident that the song would be a special attraction for audiences in the film as well. Composer Anup Rubens and lyricist Sri Mani deserve all the credit in pulling this off. The film is currently undergoing post-production. We’ll announce a release date once the second wave of COVID-19 subsides and the situation stabilises,” the producer MLV Sathyanarayana shared.

Anup Rubens, expressing his gratitude to team Kothi Kommachi, stated “This is a film that offers wonderful scope for music. The director Satish Vegesna not only has a great eye for visuals but also a good ear for music and has given me many unique situations to compose in the film. Vontimitta, 23 Apr. 21: On the third day of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kodandaramaswamy temple, devotees were blessed by Lord in Vatapatrashayi alankaram held in ekantham in view of Covid guidelines.

 

Legends depicted the episode of Maha Vishnu as a child floating on a big banyan leave during a cyclone and later in Sri Rama avatar for resurrecting humanity as narrated by Annamacharya in his sankeetans.

Sri Sitarama Kalyanam at Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Vari Alayam









Tirupati, 22 April 2021: TTD organised the traditional Sri Sitarama Kalyanam fete as part of Sri Ramanavami celebration at the Sri Kodandaramaswamy temple on Thursday evening in ekantham in view of Covid-19 guidelines.

 

The temple archaka Sri Ananda Dikshitulu supervised the grand fete after performing Punya Havachanam, Sadyp Ankurarpanam, Raksha Bandanas and Vishesharadhana.

 

Thereafter the majestic kalyanam event the utsava idols of Swami and his consorts were taken in a procession in the evening.
