Thank You Brother to have a direct OTT release on aha, on May 7

After a rollicking start to 2021 with Krack, Gaali Sampath, Naandhi, 11th Hour, Mail, Thellavarithe Guruvaram and Chaavu Kaburu Challaga, an intriguing thriller, Thank You Brother, is set to have a direct OTT premiere across the globe on aha on May 7. 

Thank You Brother, featuring Viraj Ashwin and Anasuya in the lead roles, has been directed by Ramesh Raparthi. The thriller, produced by Magunta Sarath Chandra Reddy revolves around a hot-blooded youngster and a pregnant woman stuck in a non-functional lift. Though the film was slated to release in theatres later this month, the makers have opted for a direct digital release on aha, keeping in view the unprecedented situation caused by the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

aha, with its uncompromising zest to deliver quality Telugu entertainment at the fingertips of audiences, is confident that the film’s gripping treatment of a novel plot would get its due with the direct digital premiere. After morning vahana seva the utsava idols of Swamy and His consorts were rendered traditional Snapana thirumanjanam.

Vontimitta Ramaiah Kalyanam today-SVBC to Live Telecast


Vontimitta, 25 Apr. 21: The Sri Sitarama Kalyanam the grand highlight of the ongoing Sri Ramanavami Brahmotsavams, will be conducted on Monday tomorrow in ekantham due to Covid guidelines and will be live telecast by the SVBC.

E-Auction of Melchat Vastrams on 28th and 29th April



Tirupati, 25 Apr. 21: TTD is organising e-auction of all Melchat vastrams and Uttariams offered by devotees in Hundi’s of Srivari temple and other temples on April 28-29.

 

The e-auction conducted on state governments Konugolu portal comprises used, partially damaged and new goods in 75 lots bearing EA numbers: 21613, 21615, 21616.

Toyota Innova Crysta Donated




Tirumala, 25 Apr. 21: The M/s Harsha Motors has donated a Toyota Innova Crysta vehicle worth Rs.20 lakhs to TTD on Sunday morning.

 

On behalf of Harsha Toyota Sri Bhanuprakash Reddy handed over the vehicle keys to Srivari temple DyEO Sri Harindranath in front of Temple after special pujas.

 

TTD Denies Claims on Hanuman Birth Place



Tirumala, 25 Apr. 21: The TTD on Sunday denied reports in print, electronic and social media that its recent declaration on the birthplace of Sri  Hanuman was based on reports provided by other scholars.

 

In a statement, TTD said a scholars committee was set under the chairmanship of Prof V Muralidhar Sharma, Vice-chancellor of National Sanskrit University to study the issue in detail. The committee made vigorous research on evidences gathered from Puranic anthologies, epigraphically sources, literary scripts and geographical details as indicated in 12 Puranas and epic texts.

 

The findings of the scholars committee submitted to TTD in a final report were announced at Tirumala in the presence of Honourable Governor of Tamilnadu, His Excellency Sri Banwarilal Purohit on the Sri Ramanavami day, April 21.

 

Thereafter scores of scholars have sprung up from nowhere and are making claims that the “ research reports submitted to TTD by them long ago” was the basis for the announcement made by TTD on April 21.

 

The TTD reiterated its declaration on Anjanadri hillock in Tirumala as the birthplace of Hanuman, was an outcome of vigorous research made by the scholars committee set up TTD only.

 

TTD said that all claims in media by others were totally baseless and allegedly motivated for propaganda with bad intentions.

 

Vasanthotsavam at Srivari Temple - Day 2







Tirumala, 25 Apr. 21: The second-day festivities of the annual Vasantothsavam were conducted at Srivari temple on Sunday also in ekantham following Covid guidelines.

 

As the TTD has cancelled the traditional Swarna Rathotsavam seva in view of Covid, the utsava idols of Sri Malayappa and his consorts were first seated in Kalyana mandapam and later rendered grand Snapana thirumanjanam abhisekam.

 

Later in the evening after the Asthanam, the utsava idols were paraded on the Mada streets amidst Mangala vadyam and Veda mantras.

 

The Tirumala pontiffs Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyarswamy and Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyarswamy, Temple DyEO Sri Harindranath, other Archakas and officials were present.
