Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple Brahmostavams in Ekantam from 18th to 26th May



Tirupati, 3 May 2021: TTD is organising a grand annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Govindarajas Swamy temple in ekantham as per Covid guidelines from May18-2 and the Ankurarpanam fete will be performed on the evening of May 17.

 

The Dwajarohanam ritual of the nine-day celebrations of Brahmotsavam will be conducted on May 18 between 7.55-8.50 am in Mithuna lagnam.

Sundarakanda Akhanda Parayanams Amplify Bhakti Wave at Tirumala








Tirumala, 2 May 2021: The 13th edition of sundarakanda Akhanda parayanams held at the Nada Niranjanam platform amplified the Bhakti waves at Tirumala on Sunday morning.

 

TTD organised the divine parayanams of 171 shlokas of 54-57 sargas by Veda pundits in total adherence to the Covid-19 guidelines.

 

Speaking on occasion Sri Kuppa Shiva Subramanya Avadhani, principal of Dharmagiri Veda vijnan peetham, said for the well being of humanity from pandemic Corona, the parayanams of significant episodes of Lanka -Dahanu and Rakshasa-Samhara Of Sundarakanda was observed on Sunday.

 

He said the Mantra parayana Mahotsavam organised by TTD In the wake of pandemic Corona menace had completed 388 days and the Akhanda parayanams of Sundarakanda alone has crossed 326 days.

 

Under his supervision the 171 shlokas of the 13th edition were today rendered by the Vedic pundits- Sri Maruti and Sri Narasimha Charyulu and the program was live telecast by SVBC between 07.00-09.00 am for benefit of devotees. 

 

Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, faculty members of Dharmagiri Pathashala and other officials were present.

₹ One Crore Donation to SVBC Trust



Tirumala, 2 May 2021: A corporate devotee from Chennai M/s G square Realtors have donated  Rs. 1 crore to the SVBC trust on Sunday morning.

 

Representatives of the corporate group handed over the DD to TTD Additional EO and MD of SVBC Sri AV Dharma Reddy at the Nada Niranjanam platform.

 

Shodashadina Sundarakanda Diksha from 3rd to 18th May






Tirumala, 2 May 2021: TTD conducted the traditional Ankurarpanam fete at Dharmagiri Veda vijnan peetham on Sunday night for the shodashadina sundarakanda Diksha from tomorrow, May3-18.

 

The TTD is observing the 16-day long Diksha for well being of humanity seeking relief from Pandemic Corona at the Vasantha Mandapam in total adherence to Covid guidelines.

 

The fete will be conducted by 32 Vedic pundits and supervised by Principal Sri KSS Avadhani. While 16 of them will dairy observe Japam and Homam at Dharmagiri Veda vijnan peetham, another batch of 16 pundits will conduct parayanams of 68 sargas of Sundarakanda Diksha at the Vasantha Mandapam in Tirumala from May 3- 18.

 

The participant pundits have to observe rigid Vedic traditions of one meal a day, celibacy and daily japam etc.

 

 TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, teachers and Veda pundits of Dharmagiri were present.

 

TTD is already conducting Sundarakanda parayanams at Nada Niranjanam platform daily in the morning between 07.00-8.00 am and the same is live telecast by SVBC to make devotees as partners in the spiritual campaign against Covid-19.

 

The 16-day Shodashadina Sundarakanda Diksha is another effort by TTD to intensify its spiritual campaign against Pandemic COVID-19. The Vedic pundits say that the Diksha is very auspicious and parayanams of each word in the Sundarakanda sargas carried significant spiritual impact on all evil forces afflicting the humanity.

TTD Chairman Donates ₹5 Lakhs to TTD


Tirumala, 1 May 2021: TTD chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy on Saturday donated Rs 5 lakhs to various trusts of TTD.

 

He handed over the donation to TTD additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy at the Ranganayakula Mandapam inside the Srivari temple.

 

The chairman requested that the donation should be utilised: 1lakh to SV Veda preservation trust, Rs 50,000 each to Srivani Trust, Sri Balaji Arogya Vara prasadini scheme, Sri Heritage Preservation Trust, SVBC trust and for Covid relief works.

TTD Chairman Presents Health Kits to Sanitation Workers




Tirumala, 1 May 2021: Nearly 500 sanitation workers of TTD have presented health kits on Saturday morning at the Vaishnavotsava mandapam by TTD chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy with contributions from Vijayawada donor Sri Sekhar Reddy.

 

Speaking on the occasion TTD chairman said sanitary workers were frontline warriors in the 14 month long battle against pandemic COVID.

 

Lauding their services to Srivari devotees and wishing them the best of health he said the health kits would go a long way in improving their services at Tirumala.

Quality Medical Services to All Covid Hit TTD Employees - TTD Eo






Tirupati, 1 May 2021: TTD Executive Officer Dr KS Jawahar Reddy has directed officials to initiate all steps to provide quality medical services at all hospitals to TTD employees affected by pandemic Covid.

 

Addressing a review meeting on Covid handling in TTD at the Sri Padmavati rest house on Saturday evening, the TTD EO instructed that all employees should be identified for vaccination priority be given to those waiting for the second dose and organise hassle-free vaccination for all TTD employees.

 

He enquired about vaccination to employees department wise, also about those admitted in hospitals and directed that some beds should be reserved for TTD employees at the SVIMs hospital.

 

He also enquired about oxygen stocks at SVIMs, SV Ayurveda and the Ruia hospital and also issued orders for medical advances to employees for Covid 

Treatment and permission for 50:50 ratio attendances in TTD offices.

 

Besides directing the conduction of a fire safety audit in TTD, he also suggested a separate transport facility for TTD employees attending work at Timbale.
