Sahasra Seerusha Purusha Offered Special Sahasra Kalasabhishekam

 



On the auspicious occasion of the consecration of the Kautuka Beram-Bhoga Srinivasa Murthy in Tirumala temple, TTD has observed special Sahasra Kalasabhishekam on Sunday in Ekantam.


This celestial event took place in the Garudalwar Sannidhi from 6am to 8.30am. The Utsava Murthies of Sri Malayappa, Sridevi, Bhudevi, Vishwaksenulavaru and the silver idol of Sri Bhoga Srinivasa Murthy who is also known as Manavala Perumal were placed at Garudalwar Sannidhi.

While the Koutuka Beram of Manavala Perumal was seated in front of the Mula Virat at Garudalwar Sannidhi, the utsava murthies of deities and chief commander seated facing each other.

Later holy snapanam was performed to all these deities amidst chanting of Vedic hymns by pundits.

A holy thread has been tied from Bhoga Srinivasamurthy idol to mula virat inside sanctorum, which indicated that as if the Sahasra Kalasabhishekam is taking place to the presiding deity.

HISTORICAL IMPORTANCE

Meanwhile, the importance of Kautuka Beram of Manavala Perumal or the Bhoga Srinivasa Murthy dates back to 7th Century AD when Sri Perundevi, the Pallava Samavai Queen presented the 18-inch silver idol of Sri Venkateswara Swamy which is the exact replica of the presiding deity.

H H Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy of Tirumala, H H Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy of Tirumala, TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu, Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, one of the Chief Priests of Tirumala temple Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu, DyEO Sri Lokanatham, Peishkar Sri Rama Krishna and others were also present.

తిరుమలలో ఘనంగా శ్రీ భోగశ్రీనివాసమూర్తి ఆవిర్భావోత్సవం Sahasra Kalasabhishekam

 





శ్రీవారి పంచ బేరాలలో ఒకటైన శ్రీ భోగ శ్రీనివాసమూర్తిని తిరుమల శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో పల్లవరాణి సామవై ప్రతిష్ఠించిన దినాన్ని పురస్కరించుకుని ఆలయంలో ప్రత్యేక సహస్రకలశాభిషేకాన్ని టీటీడీ ఆదివారం నాడు వైభవంగా ఏకాంతంగా నిర్వహించింది.

ఇందులో బాగంగా ఉదయం 6 నుంచి 8.30 గంటల వరకు శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలోని గ‌రుడాళ్వార్ స‌న్నిధిలో శ్రీ‌దేవి, భూదేవి స‌మేత శ్రీ మ‌ల‌య‌ప్ప‌స్వామివారు, శ్రీ భోగ శ్రీనివాసమూర్తి, శ్రీ విష్వక్సేనులవారిని వేంచేపు చేశారు.
శ్రీ‌వారి మూల‌మూర్తికి ముందు గ‌రుడాళ్వార్ స‌న్నిధిలో కౌతుకమూర్తి అయిన‌ శ్రీ మనవాళపెరుమాళ్ ను, అయ‌న‌కు అభిముఖంగా శ్రీ విష్వక్సేనులవారిని ఆశీసునులు చేశారు. త‌ర్వాత‌ శ్రీ‌వారి మూల‌మూర్తిని శ్రీ భోగ శ్రీ‌నివాస‌మూర్తికి క‌లుపుతూ దారం క‌ట్టి అనుసంధానం చేశారు. అన‌గా శ్రీ భోగ శ్రీ‌నివాస‌మూర్తికి నిర్వ‌హించే అభిషేకాధి క్ర‌తువులు మూల‌మూర్తికి నిర్వ‌హించిన‌ట్లు అవుతుంది.
అనంత‌రం వేద పండితులు వేద పారాయ‌ణం చేయ‌గా, అర్చకస్వాములు ఏకాంతంగా ప్ర‌త్యేక సహస్రకలశాభిషేకం వైభ‌వంగా నిర్వహించారు. కాగా శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలోని ఆర్జిత సేవలన్నీ యథావిధిగా జ‌రుగుతాయి.
చారిత్రక నేపథ్యం :
పల్లవ రాణి సామవాయి పెరుందేవి క్రీ.శ 614వ సంవత్సరంలో జ్యేష్ఠ మాసంలో 18 అంగుళాల పొడవుగల వెండి భోగ శ్రీనివాసమూర్తి విగ్రహాన్ని తిరుమల శ్రీవారి ఆలయానికి కానుకగా సమర్పించారు. పల్లవరాణి కానుకకు సంబంధించిన ఈ శాసనం ఆలయ మొదటి ప్రాకారంలోని విమాన వేంకటేశ్వరుని విగ్రహం కింది భాగంలో గోడపైన కనిపిస్తుంది. ఆగమం ప్రకారం శ్రీ భోగ శ్రీనివాసమూర్తిని కౌతుకమూర్తి అని, శ్రీ మనవాళపెరుమాళ్‌ అని కూడా పిలుస్తారు.
ఈ కార్య‌క్ర‌మంలో తిరుమ‌ల శ్రీ‌శ్రీ‌శ్రీ పెద్ద‌జీయ‌ర్ స్వామి, శ్రీ‌శ్రీ‌శ్రీ చిన‌జీయ‌ర్ స్వామి, టీటీడీ చైర్మ‌న్ శ్రీ బీ.ఆర్‌.నాయుడు, టీటీడీ అద‌న‌పు ఈవో శ్రీ సి.హెచ్‌.వెంక‌య్య చౌద‌రి, ఆల‌య‌ ప్ర‌ధాన అర్చ‌కుల్లో ఒక‌రైన‌ శ్రీ వేణుగోపాల దీక్షితులు, డిప్యూటీ ఈవో శ్రీ లోక‌నాథం, పేష్కార్ శ్రీ రామ‌కృష్ణ‌, ఇత‌ర అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

మే 31న అత్యధిక భక్తులకు దర్శనం

 




దాదాపు దశాబ్ద కాలం అనంతరం, తిరుమల శ్రీవారిని అత్యధిక స్థాయిలో మే 31న 95,080 మంది భక్తులు దర్శించుకోవడం విశేషం.

మే 16 నుండి తిరుమలలో భక్తుల రద్దీ భారీగా పెరిగింది. టీటీడీ ఉద్యోగులు అవిశ్రాంతంగా అహర్నిశలు విధులు నిర్వహించి, గత రెండు వారాల్లోని గురువారాలు, శుక్రవారాల్లో కూడా అత్యధిక మంది భక్తులకు దర్శనం కల్పించడం జరిగింది.
టీటీడీ ఉన్నతాధికారుల నిర్దేశాల మేరకు, వివిధ విభాగాల అధిపతుల పర్యవేక్షణలో శ్రీవారి ఆలయ సిబ్బంది, విజిలెన్స్ విభాగం సహకారంతో అన్నప్రసాదం, తాగునీరు, పాల వితరణ భక్తులకు సమర్థవంతంగా అందించడం జరిగింది. దీంతో అనేకమంది భక్తులు సౌకర్యవంతంగా దర్శనం చేసుకోగలిగారు.
గతేడాది మే నెలతో పోల్చితే, ఈసారి 55,759 మంది అధికంగా దర్శనం పొందారు. 2024 మేలో 23,23,493 మంది భక్తులు స్వామివారిని దర్శించుకోగా, 2025 మేలో 23,79,252 మంది భక్తులు దర్శించుకున్నారు.
అలాగే, అన్నప్రసాద వితరణలో కూడా ఈ ఏడాది నూతన రికార్డు నమోదైంది. 2024 మేలో 71 లక్షల వితరణలు జరిగితే, ఈ సంవత్సరం 2025 మేలో 1.33 కోట్ల వితరణలు నమోదు కావడం విశేషం.
ఇంతేకాకుండా, ఈ మే నెలలో తలనీలాల సంఖ్య, లడ్డూ విక్రయాల పరంగా కూడా గత ఏడాది మేతో పోల్చితే అధికంగా నమోదు కావడం గమనార్హం.

Annaprasadam Servings Crosses One Crore Mark This May

 




In a record of its sorts in the last one decade, TTD has provided a comfortable and hassle-free Darshan to 95,080 devotees on Sunday.


The Hill temple of Tirumala has been witnessing the swarm of pilgrims especially since Mid of May. With the day and night efforts of various departments of TTD, record number of devotees were provided Darshan even on Thursdays and Fridays in the second half of May. 

Under the instructions of TTD higher authorities and in the continuous monitoring of the Heads of various departments of TTD, distribution of Annaprasdam, water, milk have been carried out with the help of Srivari temple and security wing of TTD, maximum number of devotees have been provided comfortable darshan.

When compared to May last, over 55thousand devotees had darshan in addition this year taking the total figure to 23,79252 as against 23,23,493 during last. And the total darshan figures to the pilgrims have crossed 95thousand mark on Sunday, the May 31. 

Similarly, the Annaprasadam servings have set a new record with highest servings ever, taking the figure to 1.33crore in May 2025 as against 71lakhs in 2024.

While the numbers of tonsures stood and number of laddus being sold this May also topped against the figures of May last.
