A devotee from Bengaluru, Sri Kalyan Raman Krishnamurthy, on Wednesday donated Rs. One crore to the Sri Venkateswara Anna Prasadam Trust of TTD.

The donation DD was handed over to the TTD Additional Executive Officer Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary at the Additional EO’s Camp office in Tirumala.

The Parade Grounds of TTD behind the administrative building in Tirupati is setting ready to host the 79th Independence Day celebrations on August 15 in a grand manner.

The celebrations will commence from 8:30 a.m. onwards after the hoisting of the National Flag.

After the ceremonial March Past, I-Day speech by the TTD Executive Officer, the devotional cultural programs, meritorious awards will be distributed to the senior officers and Employees who excelled in discharging their duties in their respective offices.

All the officers and employees besides denizens in Tirupati will participate in the I Day event.

ఆగష్టు 15న నిర్వహించే 79వ భారత స్వాతంత్య్ర దినోత్స‌వ వేడుకలను ఘనంగా నిర్వహించేందుకు టిటిడి ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తోంది. తిరుపతిలోని టీటీడీ పరిపాలనా భవనం ప్రాంగణంలోని పరేడ్‌ మైదానంలో వేదికను అందంగా ముస్తాబు చేస్తున్నారు. శుక్రవారం ఉదయం 8.30 గంటలకు ఈ వేడుకలు ప్రారంభమవుతాయి.

జాతీయ జెండా వందనం అనంతరం విధుల్లో ఉత్తమ ప్రతిభను కనపరిచిన  వివిధ విభాగాలకు చెందిన ఉద్యోగులకు ఐదు గ్రాముల వెండి డాలర్‌, ప్రశంసాపత్రాలను అందజేస్తారు. టీటీడీ విద్యాసంస్థల విద్యార్థులు, ఉద్యోగుల పిల్లలు సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలను ప్రదర్శిస్తారు.

Elaborate arrangements are being made to organize the annual Gopuja on the occasion of Gokulashtami on August 16 at Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshanasala run by TTD. 

On Saturday morning, after the abhishekam of Sri Venugopala Swamy, playing flute, Vedic recitation and other programs will be organized. After that, Gopuja, Aarti and other Kainkaryams will be performed in the presence of Sri Venugopala Swamy. 

On this occasion, Vedic recitation by TTD Vedic School, various cultural programs by artists of Hindu Dharmaprachara Parishad, Annamacharya Project, Dasa Sahitya Project will be organized.
