A total donation of Rs.20 lakh has been received for the trusts run by TTD. Of this, Rs.10 lakh was donated to the Sri SV Gosamrakshana Trust and another Rs.10 lakh to the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS).
The Directors of Rajendra Jewellery Private Limited, Mumbai, Shri Berulal Jain and Shri Meenesh Jain, offered the donation.
The donors handed over the DDs to TTD Executive Officer Shri M.. Ravichandra in his chamber at the TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Wednesday.
TTD Board Member Shri G. Bhanu Prakash Reddy was also present on the occasion.
The TTD EO Sri M. Ravi chandra appreciated the donors for their generous contribution.
In previous years, excluding salaries, the funds allocated for development works in the TTD Education Department were as follows:
Rs.24.37 crore in 2021–22
Rs.39.04 crore in 2022–23
Rs.33.08 crore in 2023–24
Rs.25.99 crore in 2024–25
Rs.13.08 crore in 2025–26
These funds were utilized for building construction and improving infrastructure facilities.
For the current financial year 2026–27, a total of Rs.118.89 crore has been allocated jointly by the SV Vidyadanam Trust and TTD to modernize educational institutions and provide better facilities to students.
During a recent review meeting, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, suggested taking steps to provide modern facilities to students studying in TTD educational institutions. Following these directions, TTD has allocated these funds to undertake several development works.
With this allocation, additional classrooms and hostel accommodation will be constructed, and various development works will be taken up in schools and colleges run by TTD.
In addition, to ensure the overall development of students, sports, cultural and co-curricular activities will be encouraged. Training programmes will also be conducted for teaching and non-teaching staff. Courses aimed at preparing students for competitive examinations such as IIT, NEET, CA and CLAT will be introduced. Skill development, job-oriented and vocational courses will also be made available.
Emphasis will be laid on modern technology-based education by setting up digital classrooms, computers, smart panel boards, computer labs and virtual conference facilities. Modern CCTV cameras will also be installed in schools and colleges, and mobile medical unit services will be provided.
Special attention will be given to providing medical services to girl students studying in Sri Padmavathi Women’s Educational Institutions (SPW Junior College, SPW Degree College and Polytechnic College) by appointing the necessary medical staff.
Comprehensive plans are being prepared to further develop the TTD Education Department with modern facilities under the supervision of TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu, EO Sri M. Ravichandra and TTD JEO (Health & Education) Dr. A. Sarath.

He was received at the Sacred Fig tree located near Old Annaprasadam Complex as per temple traditional honours (Pedda Maryada). Later TTD EO Sri M Ravi Prasad and Addl EO Sri Venkaiah Chowdary welcomed the seer, while the archakas took the Pontiff to Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple with Isthikapal honours.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Kodidala Shobha, Telugu Lecturer of SPW Women’s Degree and PG College, said that Rallapalli rendered remarkable service by deciphering the Sankeertanas of Tallapaka Annamacharya from copper plates and setting them to musical tunes.
Telugu scholar Dr. Malepattu Purushottamachari highlighted the life and literary contributions of Rallapalli, while retired professor Acharya Damodar Naidu of Sri Venkateswara University spoke about Rallapalli’s role as a distinguished literary critic.
Earlier, TTD officials paid floral tributes to the statue of Rallapalli Ananthakrishna Sharma near Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam.
