Renowned spiritual scholar Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao visited the sacred shrine of Sri Kamakshi Sametha Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple, located amidst the holy Saptagiris in Tirupati, on Wednesday. He had darshan of the Lord and performed specialपूजाrituals.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, he said that as per the Puranas, taking a holy dip in Kapila Theertham—considered one of the most sacred among the Saptagiris—pleases not only the deities but also the ancestral spirits.
He explained that devotees should first have darshan of Lord Vighneswara, and then worship Sri Kamakshi Sametha Kapileswara Swamy. By doing so, they are blessed with progeny, prosperity, and family well-being.
He further stated that visiting Lord Kalabhairava, the Kotilingas, and the sacred Bilva tree before leaving the temple would bestow additional auspicious benefits.

The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Venkateswara Swamy will be celebrated with grandeur at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in New Delhi from May 01 to 09, 2026. The Ankurarpanam ritual will be performed on April 30.
As part of the pre-festival rituals, Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam (temple cleansing ceremony) will be conducted on April 28. Dwajarohanam (flag hoisting) will take place on May 01 between 9:00 PM and 10:30 PM during the auspicious Mithuna Lagnam.
During the Brahmotsavams, Vahana Sevas will be held daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM and from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Pushpayagam will be performed on May 10 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
