The sacred Pushpayagam of Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Tirupati, will commence with Senadhipathi Utsavam and Ankurarpanam on June 21 from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
On June 22, Snapana Tirumanjanam will be held at 9.30 am, followed by the grand Pushpayagam from 1 pm to 4 pm. Special worship will be performed to the deity with a variety of fragrant flowers and sacred leaves. A Veedhi Utsavam will be held at 6 pm.
Devotees can participate in the Pushpayagam seva by purchasing a ticket priced at Rs.516 for two persons.
The ritual is performed as a traditional atonement ceremony for any inadvertent lapses that may have occurred during the annual Brahmotsavams and daily temple rituals. TTD has appealed to devotees to participate in large numbers and receive the blessings of Sri Govindaraja Swamy
A devotee from Telangana, Sri Vanga Mallesh Goud, accidentally left his bag at the Alipiri checkpoint scanner while proceeding for darshan. Upon receiving his complaint, the Tirupati and Tirumala Command Control Centre staff traced the vehicle that had mistakenly taken the bag and located it at Balaji Guest House.
The bag was recovered and handed over to the devotee after verification. All belongings, including 50 grams of gold, were found intact.
Sri Mallesh Goud expressed gratitude to the Command Control Centre staff for their prompt response and dedicated efforts.
తిరుమలకు దర్శనార్థం వచ్చిన తెలంగాణకు చెందిన భక్తుడు శ్రీ వంగ మల్లేష్ గౌడ్ అలిపిరి చెక్పాయింట్ (స్కానర్) వద్ద తన బ్యాగును అనుకోకుండా మరచిపోయారు. వెంటనే ఆయన తిరుపతి కమాండ్ కంట్రోల్ సెంటర్లో ఫిర్యాదు చేయగా, సిబ్బంది సీసీటీవీ ఫుటేజీల ఆధారంగా బ్యాగును తీసుకెళ్లిన వాహనం (TG 07 AD 0269)ను గుర్తించి, తిరుమల కమాండ్ కంట్రోల్ సెంటర్ను సంప్రదించాలని సూచించారు.
దీనితో శ్రీ మల్లేష్ గౌడ్ రాత్రి 11:30 గంటలకు తిరుమల కమాండ్ కంట్రోల్ సెంటర్లో ఫిర్యాదు చేశారు. వెంటనే స్పందించిన సిబ్బంది వాహనాన్ని ట్రేస్ చేసి, తెల్లవారుజామున 3:30 గంటలకు బాలాజీ గెస్ట్ హౌస్ నెం.4 వద్ద ఆ వాహనంలోని భక్తులను గుర్తించారు.
వారిలో శ్రీ లక్ష్మీకాంత్ రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ, స్కానింగ్ సమయంలో పొరపాటున ఆ బ్యాగు తమ వద్దకు వచ్చిందని, స్వామివారి దర్శనం కోసం వచ్చినట్లు తెలిపారు.
అనంతరం బ్యాగును పరిశీలించగా అందులోని అన్ని వస్తువులతో పాటు 50 గ్రాముల బంగారం కూడా యథాతథంగా ఉండటంతో, బ్యాగును శ్రీ వంగ మల్లేష్ గౌడ్కు అప్పగించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా భక్తుడు కమాండ్ కంట్రోల్ సెంటర్ సిబ్బంది చొరవ, అప్రమత్తతకు కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు.
Sri Mahalakshmi Deepa Puja was conducted with religious fervour at Sri Ramachandra Pushkarini in Tirupati on Friday, with a large number of devotees participating.
TTD JEO Dr. A. Sarat said the programme is aimed at promoting spiritual well-being, happiness and prosperity among people. He announced that Sri Mahalakshmi Deepa Puja will be organised every second Friday of the month at different locations.
The venue echoed with Govinda Namasmarana as priests performed Vedic rituals, Deepalakshmi worship and special prayers amid the illumination of thousands of lamps.
TTD Board members, officials, Vedic scholars and devotees participated in the programme.

అనంతరం అర్చకులు శాస్త్రోక్తంగా విష్వక్సేన పూజ, పుణ్యాహవచనం, దీపలక్ష్మీ ఆరాధన, అష్టోత్తర శతనామార్చన నిర్వహించారు. వేద మంత్రోచ్చారణలు, లక్ష్మీ స్తోత్ర పారాయణాలు, వేలాది దీపాల వెలుగులతో ఆధ్యాత్మిక వాతావరణం అలరించింది.
ఈ సందర్భంగా అన్నమాచార్య ప్రాజెక్టు కళాకారులు ఆలపించిన భక్తి సంకీర్తనలు భక్తులను ఆకట్టుకున్నాయి. కార్యక్రమం చివరగా నక్షత్రహారతి, కుంభహారతి సమర్పించారు.
