₹ 10 Crores for TTD Trusts



Tirumala, 26 Feb. 21: Donations pour in for TTD Trusts on Friday and on a single day Rs.10crores donated to different trusts.

 

The CEO of New Delhi-based PASCO Company; Sri Sanjay Passi had donated Rs.10crores out of which RS.9crores towards SVBC Trust and a crore to SV Sarvashreyas (Balamandir) Trust of TTD. He has handed over the DD for the same to TTD Additional EO and SVBC MD Sri AV Dharma Reddy on Friday at Ranganayakula Mandapam in Tirumala.

 

Later speaking to the media along with his spouse Shalini Passi he said he has been visiting Tirumala since 2004 and has darshan twice a year. He said, he was charmed to see the various charitable activities taken up by TTD and we always offer support to TTD, he said. 

 

Meanwhile, with this whopping donation of Rs.9crores to TTD, the total donations to SVBC Trust have crossed over Rs.25crores. 

 

Gold Ornaments Donated to Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple



 

Tirupati, 25 Feb. 21: Devotee couple of Tirupati Sri Kameswar Rao and Sri Shyamala Rani on Thursday donated gold ornaments worth 3.17 lakhs to Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple.

 

The ornaments included a 46 gm gold chain worth z2.07 lakhs for Goddess Sri Pundarikavalli and a 24.5 gm gold chain worth 1.1 lakhs for Goddess Sri Godadevi. The ornaments were adorned to deities after traditional pujas at the temple.

 

DyEO Sri Rajendrudu, AEO Sri Ravikumar Reddy, superintendent Sri Venkatadri and inspector Sri Munindrababu were present.

 

Take Effective Steps for Snacks and Anna Prasadam Distribution to Devotees - TTD Eo





Tirupati, 25 Feb. 21: TTD Executive Officer Dr KS Jawahar Reddy directed officials to take all steps for the provision of snacks and Anna Prasadam to devotees in the PAC-1&2 and VQC-2 in view of gradually increasing number of devotees to Tirumala for Srivari Darshan after Covid guidelines relaxation. 

 

Speaking at a review meeting with Anna Prasadam wing officials at his chambers in TTD administrative building on Thursday morning, the TTD EO asked officials to stock adequate materials at kitchens in VQC and MTVAP Bhavan to prepare snacks and Anna Prasadam for the ever-increasing devotee population at Tirumala.

 

The officials made a PP presentation on the phases of Anna Prasadam to devotees since the inception of the AP division in TTD.


They also informed the TTD EO about the food packets distribution etc. made during the Covid lockdown period for affected lakhs of daily wagers and devotees at Tirupati.

 

Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, Annadanam DyEO Sri Nagraj, Catering Officer Sri G LN Shastri were present.

Tradandi Pontiff Offered Prayers at Tiruchanoor Temple













Tiruchanoor, 25 February 2021: The Tridandi pontiff Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy on Thursday evening offered prayers at the Goddess Sri Padmavati Temple, Tiruchanoor.

 

He was received with traditional temple honours by TTD chairman, AP minister Sri C Venugopal Krishna, TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, and temple archakas.

 

The Tridandi pontiff took a pradakshina of the temple and Dwajasthambham before offering prayers to Goddess Padmavati and also visited the sub-temples of Sri Krishna and Sri Sundararaja Swami within the premises.

 

Thereafter the TTD Chairman and TTD EO presented thirtha Prasadam and Goddess portrait to the Pontiff.

 

Later speaking to the media the Pontiff called upon people to give up wayward living and take adequate precautions to save themselves and the society from pandemic Covid.

 

Contending that the pandemic had raised its hydra head again he urged people to compulsorily wear masks, observe social distancing and use sanitizers extensively.

 

The pontiff said in the backdrop of attacks on temples in AP he had visited some other temples in Rayalaseema whose sculptural heritage and divinity deserved patronage by TTD.

 

He said he had submitted a report on such temples to the TTD chairman for consideration of patronage.

 

TTD Trust board member Sri Jupalli Rameswaram Rao, Sri Shivkumar, Sri Venkata Bhaskar Rao, DyEO Smt Jhansi Rani and AEO Sri Subramaniam and others were present.

 

Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple Float Festival







Tirupati, 25 February 2021: The Utsava idol of Sri Govindaraja Swamy and his consorts took a celestial ride on the richly decorated float in the Sri Govindarajaswami Pushkarini on Thursday evening, the sixth day of the ongoing annual float festival.

 

The colourfully decked float with bright flowers and electrical illuminations went seven rounds with utsava idol of Sri Govindarajaswami and his consorts and blessed devotees.

 

Earlier in the day, the utsava idols were given Snapana thirumanjanam and after the float festival they also went around four Mada streets and blessed the devotees.

 

The artists of HDPP presented bhajans and Harikatha sangeet programs during the float festival.

 

Temple special grade DyEO Sri Rajendrudu, AEO Sri Ravi Kumar Reddy, superintendents, Sri Venkatadri, Sri Raj Kumar and temple inspectors Sri Kamraju, Sri Munindrababu and others were present.

Vedas, Benchmark of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, Says Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao Garu




Tirumala, 25 Feb. 21: Brahmarashi Chaganti Koteswar Rao said on Thursday that pursuit of Sanatana Dharma was instrumental in the all-round development of humanity with the propagation of Vedas as its benchmark.

He was participating in the Akhanda Rigveda parayanams at the Ranganayakula Mandapam in the Srivari temple.

 

Speaking later, the Brahmarashi said Vedas were true representative of Almighty and could not be recreated by anyone else.

 

Highlighting the significance of Vedas for its powerful quotient of both spiritual and scientific knowledge, he said study and pursuit of Vedas taught Dharmic values as ingredients of peace, health and prosperity in society.

 

He hailed TTD for its endeavour of promoting Vedic studies and preservation of Vedic culture through Akhanda Veda Parayanams.
