Review Meeting on SriVani Trust Held




As part of its sacred and noble mission of propagation of Hindu Sanatana Dharma, TTD has taken up construction of temples in SC/ST/Fishermen colonies, said TTD Executive Officer Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.

 

Addressing a review meeting on Srivani Trust with the officials at the TTD Administrative Building on Monday evening, the TTD EO directed engineering and HDPP officials to chalk out an action plan to take up temple construction activities as part of second phase of Srivani Trust activities.

 

He said TTD was diligently carrying out its dharmic campaign with its Gudiko- Gomata and Ooriko-Gudi (A cow for temple and a temple for village) program.

 

He directed officials to chalk out temple building activity in four phases and to frame necessary guidelines with a committee comprising of District Collectors and Endowment officials of both Telugu states.

 

He urged officials to prepare lists in consultation with District Collectors for temple construction. TTD is already giving out stone idols, Panchaloha idols, Mike sets etc. to several temples as part of dharmic propagation.

TTD Chairman Presents Wedding Gifts to The Newly Weds at Chandragiri



TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy launched a program to gift free gold thali, silk clothes and foot rings to newly wed in Chandragiri assembly segment of Chittoor district.

 

At a model wedding ceremony held in Tummalagunta on Monday afternoon, the TTD Chairman presented Wedding gifts with blessings of the presiding deity of Sri Venkateswara at Tummalagunta temple to the seven newly wed couples.

 

Speaking on the occasion the TTD Chairman said he was happy to launch a program of weddings gifts organised by the Chandragiri MLA and TUDA chairman Sri Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy. 

 

The Chairman said the MLA has been presenting the wedding gifts to youth from the constituency wherever they enter the wedlock for the last 12 years at the local Sri Kalyana Venkateswara temple in Tummalagunta.

 

He said the unique program was above caste and politics and every youth from the constituency are eligible for the wedding gifts on behalf of the local MLA.

 

The local MLA Sri Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy said inspired by late CM of Andhra Pradesh Sri YS Raja Sekhara Reddy for the last 12 years he had been practising the service to newly weds in the Tummalagunta temple.

 

SSD TOKENS INCREASE SOON: TTD CHAIRMAN

 

The TTD Chairman said TTD is mulling to increase the number of SSD tokens for the sake of common devotees.

 

It may be recalled that since last four days TTD has been issuing 2000 SSD tokens to devotees hailing from Chittoor district alone.

 

He appealed to devotees to observe all Covid guidelines of masks, sanitisation and social distancing for their own health safety as well others.

Balalaya Samprokshana Held at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple






TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy on Monday said that the gold plating works of Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple vimana will be completed by mid of 2022.

 

Participating in the concluding event of five day long Balalaya program which began on September 9 and concluded on September 13 with Samprokshana fete at the temple premises, the TTD Chairman said the Sri GT Gopuram was completed in1972 and the TTD board decided to take up gold plating works in 2018.

 

He said the entire gold plating will cost Rs.32 crores and is comprised of 100 kgs of gold and 4300 kgs of copper plates. However, all the Nitya Kainkaryams for Mula murti will continue uninterrupted at the Balalaya organised at the Kalyana Mandapam in the temple.

 

Earlier the vaidika programs of Purnahuti, Divya Prabandam Sattumora were conducted followed by Balalaya Samprokshana. Later in the afternoon Nityakatla Kainkaryams and in the evening, the vaidika activities will be observed at the Yagashala.

Naa Chelive From Chakori Out Now

Naa Chelive is powered by a Leander Lee's pleasant composition and Sid Sriram's soulful vocal renditions. The lyrics are deep and meaningful as well.

Sai Raam Shankar, SS Murali Krishna’s Resound First Look Out

 Sai Raam Shankar who took some break is making comeback with a proper commercial film being directed by debutant SS Murali Krishna. Rashi Singh is playing the female lead, while Aravind Krishna will be seen in a vital role.


Today, on the occasion of Sai Raam Shankar’s birthday, title and first look poster of the movie have been unveiled. The film gets a powerful and mass-appealing title- Resound. Star directors Gopichand Malineni and Bobby have launched the first look poster and wished the entire team all the luck.

Coming to first look poster, Saai Ram Shankar can be seen sitting in a chair and smoking a beedi, after a heavy action with cops in a police station. The poster looks as powerful as the title. This indeed indicates Saai Ram Shankar’s action-packed role in the film tipped to be an out and out action entertainer.

A joint production venture of J. Suresh Reddy B Ayyappa Raju and NVN Raja Reddy, Resound will comprise an ensemble cast in important roles. It is being made under the banners of Sri Amuratha Harini Creations, Sri Saranam Ayyappa Creations and Real Reel Arrts.

Balabimba Stapana Held at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple





As part of the ongoing Balalaya event at the yagashala of Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple on the 4th day on Sunday, the sacred Balabimba Sthapana was held amidst vaidika programs.

 

While daily Nitya kaikaryas were organised for the Swami and Ammavaru at the Kalyana Mandapam, Balabimba sthapana was performed at the temple yagashala.

 

Later in the afternoon the rituals of Bimbavastu, Maha Shanti abhisekam was held and thereafter the vaidika programs were continued at the yagashala in the evening which included Shayanadivasam and Vishesh homam.

 

BALALAYA SAMPROKSHANA ON SEP 13

 

On Monday the purnahuti, Divya Prabandam sattumora will be held at yagashala. Thereafter Balalaya samprokshana ritual is performed between 9.40am and 10.00 am in Tula lagnam. Other vaidika rituals like Nitya Katla kainkaryas will be continued in yagashala.

 

Special grade DyEO Sri Rajendrudu, temple chief archaka Sri P Srinivasa Dikshitulu, Agama adviser Sri Vedanta Vishnu Bhattacharya, AEO Sri M Ravikumar, superintendent Sri A Narayana and temple inspector Sri A Kamraju were present.
