TTD Eo Reviews on Embryo Transfer Project





TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy on Wednesday along with SV Veterinary University VC Sri Padmanabha Reddy reviewed on the progress of the Embryo Transfer project mulled by TTD in collaboration with SVVU to produce high genetic cows and enhance milk production.


The meeting took place in the chamber of TTD EO in the Administrative Building in Tirupati. The EO said, the embryo transfer will help in the production of high genetic bovines at SV Goshala. This will help in producing and sustaining healthy,  Desi breeds.  He also sought the officials concerned to reduce the project period from five years to four years.


Earlier the officials of SVVU presented a PowerPoint on the progress of the Embryo Transfer Technology project. 

     

Later EO also reviewed on the ongoing feed plant construction works at SV Goshala.   


SV Goshala Director Dr Harinath Reddy, Embryo Transfer Project In-charge Prof. Veerabrahmaiah, Director of Extension Dr Venkata Naidu, Director of Research Prof Sarjan Rao and others were also present.

HH Sri Sri 1008 Sri Sujayanidhi Teertha Swamiji, Peetadhipathi of Sri Sripadaraja Mutt, Mulbagal offered prayers in Sri Vari Temple, Tirumala on Wednesday morning.

 

He was received at the Sacred Fig tree located near Old Annaprasadam Complex as per temple traditional honours (Pedda Maryada). Later Temple DyEO Sri Ramesh welcomed the seer, while the archakas took the Pontiff to Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple with Isthikapal honours.


Peishkar Sri Srihari, Parpatheyadar Sri Umamaheswwara Reddy and others were present.

Sri Malayappa to Bless Devotees on Seven Carriers on Radha Sapthami

 The temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams geared up to host yet another important annual fete, Radha Sapthami on the auspicious occasion of Surya Jayanthi on January 28 in Tirumala in a big way.

 

In connection with this, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy along with JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore reviewed with all Heads of various departments at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Wednesday. He directed all of them to ensure a smooth conduct of the mega fete by executing their duties with more dedication. The following are the special arrangements in view of

Radhasapthami:

 

Sri Malayappa Swamy to take a celestial ride on Suryaprabha, Chinna Sesha, Garuda, Hanumantha, Chakrasnanam, Kalpavriksha, Sarvabhoopala and Chandraprabha Vahanams from dawn to dusk on a single day. 

 

The Slotted Sarva Darshan tokens stands cancelled on January 28. The devotees shall have darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy through Vaikuntham Queue Complex 2 on that day. 

 

VIP Break, all arjita sevas, privileged darshan including seniors citizens and physically handicapped are also cancelled.

 

The advance booking of accommodation also stands cancelled on January 27 and 28. Only CRO General counters will function on these two days for the allotment of accommodation. TB Counter remains closed on these two days.

 

Four lakhs of laddus are being kept as buffer stock apart from the daily stock of 3.5lakh laddus. 

 

Annaprasadam and beverages will be supplied to the devotees waiting in galleries, VQC 1 and 2, Narayanagiri Sheds, queue lines, mini Annaprasadam centres in Tirumala from morning to evening. One lakh buttermilk packets, two lakh beverages, 7-8 lakh Ready to Eat varieties including one lakh Pulihora, and other Annaprasadam menu will be served in galleries apart from the routine activity at MTVAC, PAC2, 4 and VQC.

 

Special arrangements of the distribution of water at 408 points apart from the existing 230 taps, 178 drums in galleries all along the mada streets.

 

130 odd students from Sri Venkateswara Balamandiram school run by TTD to present Aditya Hridayam during Suryaprabha Vahanam.

 

CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar, FACAO Sri Balaji, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, SE 2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, Temple DyEO Sri Ramesh Babu and other HoDs were present.

 

DEVOTEES WITHOUT FOLLOWING TIME SLOTS WILL BE ALLOWED THROUGH VQC 2

 

TTD has given Time slot tickets and tokens only to avoid long waiting hours by the pilgrims in compartments and queue lines while having the darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy.

 

But it is found, every day not less than 3000 devotees are not following the time slots and reporting many hours beyond their prescribed time. 

 

Henceforth, those pilgrims who are failing to report on given time will be allowed for darshan only through Vaikutham Queue Complex 2 along with the tokenless devotees only.

 

The devotees who booked tickets in on-line and SSD tokens in Tirupati should follow the given time to have a hassle-free darshan.

 




Marma Ayurveda Therapy to Prevent Diseases - Expert





Marma Ayurveda Therapy is performed to prevent many diseases said expert Hereditary Marma Therapist Dr Ramesh.


Bengaluru based Trans Disciplinary Medical Varsity Professor Dr Ramesh explained about this ancient Therapy in Ayurveda at SV Ayurveda College in Tirupati on Wednesday.


Principal Dr Muralikrishna, Professors Dr Renu Dixit, Dr Srinivasa Kumar, other faculty, students were present.

TTD Eo Inagurates New Labpratory in BIRRD

 A new laboratory with advanced equipment was inaugurated by TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy in BIRRD hospital in Tirupati on Wednesday.


Speaking on the occasion, the EO said, the laboratory was commissioned with the modern gadgets at Rs.80lakhs for carrying out various lab tests in Haematology, Serology, Coagulation, Bio-chemistry etc. to the patients of BIRRD and SP Children's Hospital. All the in-house patients will henceforth be tested in this laboratory only. In future, the hospital is gearing up to carry out Pathological and Micro-biological tests also", he added. 


"Even the patients from SVIMS, RUIA and other private hospitals will also be tested in this lab. About 20-25 units of blood is being provided to SVIMS, Maternity, RUIA and outside hospitals every day. Besides, every day 400 OPs, 20 Surgeries, 5 trauma, scoliosis, cerebral palsy, cleft palate, cochlear surgeries are also being carried out in the hospital in a successful manner".


Earlier, the EO inspected the laboratory, micro-biology, bio-chemistry, clinical pathology, blood banks in BIRRD and verified their functioning.


Later he also inspected Sri Padmavathi Children's Heart Centre and also visited the boy who recently had a successful Heart Transplantation.
