Tractor Donated






Sree Sai Agricultural Traders from Bagalkot of Karnataka have donated Rs.6.25lakhs worth of tractor to TTD on Friday.


After performing puja to the vehicle, they handed over the keys to TTD in front of Tirumala temple.

Dhoni Entertainment's first film 'L.G.M' begins with puja!





Chennai, January 27: The shooting of 'L.G.M', which is being produced by Sakshi and Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s production house Dhoni Entertainment, began here today with a grand puja ceremony that was attended by  a host of celebrities along with Sakshi.


'Lets Get Married” which is being directed by debut director Ramesh Thamilmani and which was conceptualized by Sakshi herself, features actors Harish Kalyan, Nadiya and Ivana in the lead and also features well known comedian Yogi Babu.

Director Ramesh Thamilmani himself is scoring the music for the film, which has cinematography by Vishwajith. 

The film, which will mark Dhoni Entertainment's foray into mainstream film production, is touted to be a family entertainer. 

Dhoni Entertainment chose to commence its first film production with a Tamil family entertainer, reinforcing the immense love “Thala” has received over the years from the people of Tamil Nadu.

Sakshi Dhoni, the brain behind the concept of the film's script, expressed delight at the film getting launched. "We look forward to being here and doing more such meaningful stories," she said.   

Speaking about his film, director Ramesh Thamilmani, who has also penned the script for the film, said, " We are excited to start this fascinating journey today. I assure you that this fun-filled film will be one that the entire family can enjoy.”

On the occasion, Dhoni Entertainment Business Head Vikas Hasija said, “Dhoni Entertainment's aim is to reach Indian audiences in every nook and corner of the country through meaningful stories and this film is in line with that thought. Dhoni Entertainment is looking for good scripts and we intend to do several more films in Tamil. Today's beginning, we believe, will mark Dhoni Entertainment's long and fruitful innings in Tamil cinema, where we intend to make a difference.”

Priiyanshu Chopraa, Creative Head of Dhoni Entertainment, said, "I am happy and ecstatic at the launch of this film. Having witnessed first hand both Sakshi's concept and how it was turned into an entertaining script by Ramesh, I can't wait to see this film take shape."

Cancer Hospital to Come up Soon - TTD Eo

 After recalling the great sacrifices made by the freedom fighters on the occasion of the 74th Republic Day, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said TTD is committed to carry out more and more pilgrim initiatives with great enthusiasm in future also.


The R-Day celebrations were observed with a great patriotic fervour in TTD Administrative Building Parade Grounds on Thursday. After hoisting the National Flag and rendering Salute, the EO listed out a few important projects which were completed and under pipeline during his R-Day speech. Some excerpts:


We have successfully carried out the Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam for ten days providing Dwara Darshanam to over 6lakhs. Besides over 9700 devotees belonging to 197 backward areas were also provided the Dwara Darshanam. SSD tokens were successfully distributed and for the first time only Sarva Darshanam pilgrims are allowed.


The change in the VIP break darshan timings from December 1 onwards is yielding good results avoiding long waiting hours for common pilgrims and this system will be continued for two more months under trial-basis.


All arrangements are in place for Radhasapthami on January 28.


New Parakamani building will come into utility from February onwards.

World Class SV Museum and Modernisation of Laddu are also under way.


QR code which was successfully implemented in Srivari Seva for the sake of Srivari Sevakulu as a guide map to their service points will be implemented soon at all Reception offices for guiding the pilgrims also.


2068 temples in SC, ST, BC and fishermen colonies are under different stages of construction across the state under the funds of SRIVANI Trust. Another 150 ancient temples are also under renovation.


The cochlear, cleft palate surgeries in BIRRD and the 1000 successful heart surgeries in Sri Padmavathi Childrens' Health Centre are milestones in the medical services of TTD in recent times. A new Cancer Hospital is also underway which will be inaugurated this Dasara.


To meet the needs of the ever increasing pilgrim crowd to Tirumala, apart from MTVAC, mini Annaprasadams are also being operated.


The entire accommodation in Tirumala is spruced up for the common pilgrims at Rs.132 crores. One more PAC is coming up at Rs.100 crores.  


The prime focus of TTD is to ensure its pilgrims a hassle-free darshan, stay and a memorable pilgrimage experience and our strong workforce is committed to offer dedicated services to pilgrims for ever and ever.




R-Day Observed inTirumala

 A world-class state-of-art Museum and Modernisation of Laddu are the major twin projects which are on wheels this year, said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.


After hoisting the National Flag in Gokulam Rest Houses premises in Tirumala on Thursday on the occasion of the 74th Republic Day, the EO in his speech briefed on various development activities taken up by TTD since last Republic Day. 


The EO said, TATA Foundation has come forward with Rs.120 crores to take up the Museum which houses over 4000 artefacts. Similarly, the Reliance Group has agreed to take up the modernisation and automation of Laddus at Rs.50 crores. This will enhance the quality and quantity of Laddus. Both these two projects will be completed in a year's time.


He also said the accommodation in Tirumala is 90% renovated and the remaining works will also be completed in a few months time. "Nearly 230 crores are being spent which includes renovation of the cottages for common pilgrims at R.130cr while another Pilgrims Amenities Complex is also coming up at Rs.100cr in Tirumala. Besides, the cottages meant for pilgrims which are allotted to various TTD, Vigilance, Police and other departments were vacated in the last 3 years. Among 800 odd cottages which were allotted under transit accommodation, over 500 are vacated and only a few are remaining which will also be completed soon. The staff are allotted accommodation in the Staff Quarters", he added.

R-Day Observed with Patriotic Fervour













The Republic Day was observed with utmost patriotic fervour by TTD in its Parade Grounds in Tirupati on Thursday.


After the unfurling of the National Flag by TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, the Parade by TTD Security Wing led by AVSO Sri Vishwanatham stood as a special attraction. After delivering his R-Day speech the EO felicitated 32 officers and 237 employees on the occasion who exhibited work skills'

 

Virat, Simba, Indu, Hunter, Varsha, Beauty steals the show: They are not the names of any cricketer or actor or actress. In fact they are Hounds of TTD which have been excelling in catching hold of the culprits, thieves. A mock drill was carried out by the Dog Squad In-Charge Sri Suresh Babu where in these Vigilance Dogs hunted, chased and identified the suspicious objects that stood as cynosure on the occasion.


The devotional and patriotic dance performances by the students of TTD institutions attracted the spectators.

Niharika Entertainment’s New Project Saindhav Launched Grandly








Venkatesh’s landmark 75th film Saindhav to be directed by Sailesh Kolanu and produced prestigiously by Venkat Boyanapalli under the banner of Niharika Entertainment has been launched grandly today with a pooja ceremony in Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad with the core team as well as several special guests gracing it.


Hero Nani, Rana Daggubati, Naga Chaitanya, producer Suresh Babu, Dil Raju, K Raghavendra Rao, producers Mythri Naveen, Sirish, Vyra Mohan Cherukuri, Dr.Vijayendar Reddy, AK Entertainments Anil Sunkara, People’s Media Vishwa Prasad, Vivek Kuchibhotla, 14 Reels+ Gopi Achanta, Director Vimal Krishna, Producer Shine Screens Sahu Garapati, SLV Cinemas Sudhakar Cherukuri, Bandla Ganesh, Sithara Naga Vamsi, Director B Gopal, MS Raju, Producer Bellamkonda Suresh, Gemini Kiran, Zee Cinemas Prasad Nimmakayala, Ranjith Movies Damodar Prasad, Classic Sudheer and Nizam Sashi attended the opening ceremony.

Rana Daggubati, Naga Chaitanya and Suresh Babu handed over the script to the makers to start the proceedings. While K Raghavendra Rao sounded the clapboard, Dil Raju switched on the camera. The first shot was directed by Anil Ravipudi. The regular shoot of Saindhav will begin soon.

The title glimpse of the movie was released yesterday to overwhelming response and the video that is trending top on YouTube has set high expectations.

Saindhavi will be made on a massive scale with a lavish budget and this is going to be the costliest movie for Venkatesh. The movie will feature several prominent actors, it will be a star-studded film with an eminent team of technicians handling different crafts.

Santosh Narayanan helms the music. S Manikandan cranks the camera, while Garry BH is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the production designer. Kishore Thallur is the co-producer.

The makers will announce the other cast soon. Saindhav will release in all southern languages and Hindi.
