Indian Society of Agronomy Hyderabad Chapter Launched

            Indian society of Agronomy (ISA) launched its Hyderabad Chapter today at the  Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) Rajendranagar.  Dr. Gurubachan Singh, Agriculture Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB) Chairman, was the Chief Guest and unveiled the logo of Hyderabad Chapter.  While speaking at this inaugural function, he said,  the Agronomy is the mother of all sciences.  Agronomists   have key role to enhance the productivity in the food crops he added.  He emphasized the importance of professional body in  enriching the income levels of the farmers.  He also said, once there was a slogan that  Agronomy feeds the world" at the present scenario  "Agronomy reduces the hunger and poverty in the society". 

V. Usharani, Director General, MANAGE, Dr. V. Praveen Rao, Special Officer, PJTSAU and President Hyderabad Chapter,  were also spoke on this occasion. They are highlighted the importance of Agronomy in the field of  Agriculture Science. They were appreciated the efforts of Telangana Government to turn agricultural officers in to agronomists in the state. 

            Dr. D. Raji Reddy, Director Research, PJTSAU and Vice-President, Hyderabad Chapter welcome the delegates and Dr. R. Mahender Kumar, Secretary, Hyderabad Chapter proposed the vote of thanks.
