President on Maiden Visit to Temple City

Tiruchanur, 1 September 2017:  H.E. the Honourable President of India Sri Ramnath Kovind had darshan of Goddess Padmavathi Devi at Tiruchanur on Friday during his maiden visit to temple city along with his entourage. 

 

On his arrival at the main entrance of the temple along with Honourable Governor of AP and TS Sri ESL Narasimhan and Honourable CM of AP Sri N Chandra Babu Naidu, the TTD Executive Officer Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, Joint Executive Officers Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Sri Pola Bhaskar, CVSO Sri A Ravikrishna, temple Special Grade Deputy EO Sri P Munirathnam Reddy had given the delegates warm reception. 

 

While the temple priests welcomed the first citizen of the country with temple honors chanting vedic mantras in a traditional manner. After darshan of the Goddess, Sri Ramnath Kovind was presented with Prasadam of Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi.

 

AP Ministers Sri Achaiah Naidu, Sri Nara Lokesh, DIG Sri Prabhakara Rao CVSO Sri Ake Ravi Krishna, Sri Sivakumar Reddy and other officials were present.
