Tirupati, 5 May 2018: TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal today reiterated that there was no prospects by the Archeological Survey of India to take over any local temples in TTD jurisdiction.
Speaking to reporters after inspection of the Sarva darshan counters set up in temple town the evening the TTD Chief said the Director General of ASI has informed TTD that his office had sent a communication earlier due to some misinformation on the issue.
He said in all 109 SD counters were being set up at Tirupati and Tirumala for benefit of devotees. He directed officials to rake up publicity through flexis and handbills and that Srivari Sevakulu should be deployed with public address systems to spread awareness in different languages about SSD counters.
He also visited the SD counters set up at Railway stations bus stands and advised to officials on how to educate the devotees.
